Video Transcript for Review of Air Lift Air Suspension Compressor Parts - Wireless Remote - AL73002

Today we'll be taking a quick look at the replacement wireless remote for Air Lift wireless air compressor system. This is going to be a direct replacement from Air Lift to replace that remote that came with your system. This allows you to control all of your functions of your compressor from the comfort of your cab on your vehicle. So it's going to have all the buttons to make the adjustments, the memory adjustments, as well as changing from PSI to bar, and so on. And now it does take three AAA batteries. It does not come with them.

To put those in there, you'll just push in on that little tab at the top there. If I can get my fingernails to get in there, that'll pop it out. And then that's where we'll put in our batteries. Now again, it doesn't come with these, I'm just putting them in just for demonstration purposes so you can see that it's going to turn on. Pop back on our cover, line up the two tabs at the bottom, snap in that one at the top. And now it says J-O-I-N for join.

So it wants to join with the compressor, so that it can actually control something. Right now it's just kind of off on its own. So it's not going to really work. But just to show you that it does the function the same way, it has those same screen displays as your original remote. It does just come with the one remote. Measures about 3-3/4 inches wide by about 2-1/8 inch tall and then about 1-1/8 thick.

Just to give you some reference points there. I'm going to take the batteries back out. So whenever you get this to go with your Air Lift compressor, you will have to pair it to that, so that it'll work properly, which should be lined out in your instructions from your original kit. That's going to do it for our look at the replacement wireless remote for Air Lift wireless air compressor system.

This item was the exact replacement for the one I misplaced. I had it tuned to the system and it has performed admirably ever since. I trust E-Traiiler and recommend them for all of your vehicle needs.

After upgrading from the manual air inflation to the remote controlled air inflation is hands down had been the best investment. Loading your truck and then visually seeing your truck raise to needed level is great...definitely do it again. I have recently upgraded to a newer truck, but will be looking for another unit

Would have been great, Unfortunately sold that truck...but I still talk up the system. Great investment

Have ordered a few things from E Trailer with no issues This product along with the AIR LIFT system is a must have for a bumper pull camp levels truck and makes it drive like a sports car GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I have just purchased a used truck that has a Air Lift airbag kit installed in it . It did not come with the remote control to adjust the air pressure in the bags. Each bag is controlled separately which left me unable to regulate pressure manually. Gwendolyn expedited our conversation and helped me make the right choices for delivery and got the controller sent out that afternoon for me. I can not say enough about etrailer and there commitment to getting the job done Thank you all very much

It works great. I just used it yesterday after I hooked up the race car trailer getting ready for this race season.

This is my second remote ordered and it works great lousy like the first one. With in 10 minutes of getting my remote it was mated to my manifold and working fine. etrailers instructions were easy and fast.

Dear eTrailer: I've used this Air Ride system on a daily basis in a commercial application and cannot be more satisfied with it's performance. We have numerous loading scenarios, from pulling a tri-axle trailer to fill the bed of our GMC 2500 with pallets of sand, equipment and fuel to having a fully loaded truck bed and loaded trailer and the controller works perfectly automatically adding or removing air from the air bags to keep the truck level and stable, thus providing a safer handling truck that still holds true to the great ride the Sierra is known for. Thank you for providing this product! Michael

Only took about 20 minutes to link to my existing compressor. One change would have made the link even easier. The instructions that come with the replacement remote say that you need to remove the wiring bracket from the manifold which involves lifting the red tab and then pushing on the black tab. That took me a few minutes to figure out how to carefully press on the black tab because you wouldn't want to break the bracket and compound problems. I found the original instructions that come with the original remote/compressor and those instructions say that you just need to cycle power to the compressor to put it into link mode. I have my compressor wired to an aux switch and this would've been much easier.

I ordered this product to replace a broken one. This was the only place I could find that was selling just the controller. Everyone else wanted you to purchase the entire system. It was as expected. Reasonable price. Sent quickly. Included instructions to pair the new remote.

This is a great wireless controller for the onboard air compressor.

by:

Free shipping is slow but the prices are good. My unit arrived with a scratch all the way across the front and face of the display from a box cutter or something and w/o the belt clip. Would have liked the belt clip. The scratch isn't worth sending the unit back so I'll keep it. No big deal really.

- AL73002

The first remote only lasted a couple of years

thank you for prompt and reliable service. I was in need of the controller and you got it here the day before I was leaving and in need of the item.

The wireless remote on your Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System 72000 is supposed to enter into sleep mode after 30 seconds of inactivity.
