I went out to our warehouse to look at the Replacement Air Spring # AL50259 to see how it was marked. The Replacement Air Spring # AL50259 is indeed the 58987 that you need for your Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59516 on your 2008 Ford Ranger. I have included a picture I took of the replacement air spring confirming it is the correct part.

I spoke to Air Lift and the # AL50202 and the # AL50270 are different sizes and will replace the bags in specific systems. To find the correct replacement, we will need to know the year, make, and model of the vehicle and which system was installed. If the system that is installed cannot be identified, it may be better to replace the whole system. If you can identify it, let me know and I can see what I can do about getting you the correct replacements.
