Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - Single Path - AL25980

Average Customer Rating:  4.8 out of 5 stars   (213 Customer Reviews)

by:

The Air Lift WirelessOne compressor system had everything in the box for installation and the etrailer videos made it easy to install other than I didn’t have an angle drill for drilling holes in the frame of the truck. I made it work but an angle drill would have saved me much on the time to install.

by:

Great instructions! Very easy to install with the provided hardware and pairing with the phone and controller was quick too! I definitely recommend this!

by:

This onboRd compressor works great! I haul a variety of items and tow a camper and horse trailer. Combining this with rear axel air bags makes it easy to level and provide stability

by:

Excellent customer service as usual. Ordered this system and received it in five days. My installation is some what different than most, I mounted all the components on a 3” piece of metal plate and bolted it between two cross members under the bed in front of the spare tire, if I ever need to replace a component just drop the spare and it is a snap. Will be using this compressor for two different trailers a 35’ 5th wheel and a 24’ enclosed car trailer.

by:

Part arrived two day late. The air bag system went in get had it installed in about 1 hour. I works great love that I cam control it with the remote. Great price this unit cost my friend $1,100.00 last year, I got the same unit under $500.00.

by:

Items were very convenient to install and instructions easy to follow.
Delivery of items were delayed a couple of days due to weather .
Otherwise all was well

by:

Product arrived as advertised. Installation took about 4 hours, but at my age takes a little extra time to crawl around and run lines, etc. I installed the pump and control box on left side of cargo box on a 2019 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. Controls work as described. I run 10 psi to maintain bag pressure and at 45 psi when hooked up to our 5th wheel keeping the truck and camper nice and level. Great product for the price. I like having the remote control as I can increase/decrease pressure as needed when hooking up to camper.

by:

As always product arrived quickly and in great shape ..I just received package yesterday and I haven’t had a chance to install it yet, will do follow up review after installation.

by:

All of our company trucks have been equipped with the Airlift Systems. We use them weekly and they are performing flawlessly. We could not do what we do without the assistance which the airbags provide due to heavy tongue weight. Customer service receives 5 Stars as well!

by:

Love it!! Convenience of on-board wireless compressor is great, and it keeps the truck level when hauling the 5th wheel. No issues with it. The truck no longer sags in the back with the weight of the 5th wheel.

by:

Once I ordered the product I had it within two days. They gave me a same day ship date and said I should have it in 5 to 7 days but headed into and was very surprised. Also the person I spoke to to order the product, Ronald M, was extremely polite informative and I spoke to the time recommended him 100%

by:

So far the air compressor has been working flawlessly. Worth the extra expense to be able to keep the pressure adjusted from inside the truck and not have to check the pressure with a gauge and fill or deflate manually.

by:

Reasonable install. Handles my light duty trailer easily. Very easy to increase/decrease pressure

by:

Awesome product fairly easy to install. Noticed a big difference when towing vehicle feels great and handling was improved. Vehicle would squat when towing a 25 foot trailer now sits leveled and has a firm ride.

by:

This is my 3rd order in the last 3 years, everything was shipped in time and everything was perfect. My 2nd air bag kit on my new Ford F-250 super duty, my prior being a 19 Duramax. I only order from etrailer for all my towing, trailering needs

by:

Good price! Fast shipping!

by:

This compressor is the second one I have owned and I have loved every minute of it. It makes it so easy to inflate you air bags using the remote control for the compressor. I pull a 17,000 lb toy hauler with my 2013 Ram 2500 and this allows me to perfectly select and maintain the pressure needed in the bags to help keep sag out of the truck and provide more stability. The installation of the system was relatively easy when following the instructions. Lastly I would like to give etrailer.com a shout out for good products and reasonable prices. Thanks again!!!!!!

by:

I went to extraordinary lengths for a sanitary installation on a 2017 Tundra. After much deliberation I mounted the compressor and control module on the front inside wall of my bed. It's a bit annoying to not have weatherproof units for a design like this. The instructions call out concern for getting the connections out of wet areas. That's fine, except you have to be conscious of the BT signal path. This could be a better unit with more thought. The BIG complaint is the compressor noise. You can wake the dead with this thing, and it might go off at an inappropriate time due to temperature change or bleed off. It does what it's supposed to do, and it's a joy to be able to adjust on the fly. I pull an assortment of trailers from 18' flatbed equipment to 28' enclosed car trailer, and they all require a different pressure. I'd probably still buy it again, but there's room for design improvement.

by:

Very fast shipping, easy to install

by:

This product was unavailable from the manufacturer due to supply chain issues at the time that I ordered it.

by:

Great product. Would recommend to buy. Easy to install. Put mine under the back seat.

by:

Great product for towing/hauling! The staff at Etrailer is very courtesy and knowledgeable! Shipping, tracking, and follow-up by Etrailer was fantastic

by:

Was put on back order with no date to ship. So canceled order.

by:

Money well spent!! the Air Lift WirelessONE system has been a great addition for pulling our 5th wheel RV. It's great to monitor and adjust pressure going down the road. eTrailer folks were professional and helped in our decision and a big shout out to the staff. I will continue to buy here.

by:

Ordered and installed the wireless one compressor on a 2015 Ram 3500, with 7.5k air lift airbags. Thought I ordered the EZ model, but went about installing this set up instead. Straight forward install with (mostly) top quality components. Push connect airlines are a breeze. Two criticisms: electrical connectors supplied should be higher quality and properly sized for terminal connections, and time requirement to complete a tight install was closer to 6 hours including the bags. Absolutely no pairing issues. I am a long time customer of etrailer, and will continue to be. Love those midwestern values! Thanks again.

  • What Causes 14 Error Code on Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System
If you have the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System like part # AL25980 or part # AL25980EZ then you can simply look in the owner's manual for said error code as there should be a chart which references this and provides a suggested solution. I went ahead and did this for you and what I found was that the "14" error code represents a compressor that is under current and the proposed solution for this is to first check the battery and ground connections. If this does not fix then issue...

  • Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor Dimensions and Suggested Installation on a 2014 Toyota Sienna
I spoke to my contact at Air Lift and got the dimensions you requested. The attachment bracket for the compressor is 8-1/2 inches long, the actual compressor is 4 inches tall, 3 inches wide. The manifold (or distributions valve) is 3 inches wide by 3 inches tall. I asked about an air filter and he said it does not come with one nor would it need one. I asked about recommended installation on your 2014 Toyota Sienna and he said to put it on the inside of the frame rail. He said it can handle...

  • Air Lift # AL25980 Compressor for Existing Firestone Air Spring Suspension on 2004 Ford Excursion
When factors such as ease of installation, ease of use and price are taken into account, the Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980 Compressor system would be my recommendation. One of my co-workers has had this system installed on his Ford truck for well over a year now, and it has worked flawlessly. The fact that the compressor is controlled wirelessly removes much of the complexity from the installation, making this system an excellent choice. Air Lift tells me that this compressor can indeed...

  • Tips for Finding Keyed Power Source for Install of Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor # AL25870
For the 12 volt keyed power source for installing the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor # AL25980 you don't have to go to the fuse box if you don't have the ability to. You just need to find a wire that carries 12 volts only when the key of the vehicle is on. Typically wires that run to the radio can work since that only comes on when the key is on, or you can use ignition related circuits (be careful here), or even traction control or power antenna. Another way to find the circuit is look...

  • What Wire to Use to Power the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System on a 2013 Ram 3500
I would run a wire to the fuse box under your hood and then find a circuit that only sees voltage when the key is on like the radio circuit. Tapping into a circuit there will be better because it will prevent the accessory the circuit powers from being deprived of power. I would remove the fuse from the circuit you plan on using, test to determine which side of the fuse holder has the current on it and then use that side for attaching the fuse clip. If you wanted the Airlift to kick on...

  • Compressor Does Not Kick On, On An Airlift V2 Management
It may certainly be a sign of a faulty relay, however I also recommend checking for leaks in the air lines as well. This could also be the source of trouble. However, if you've verified the fuse is good, and that there are no air lines leaking, then you may need to replace the compressor.

  • Troubleshooting an Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25980
I spoke to a technician at Air Lift. He told me the only time they get codes 8 and 9 active together is because there is debris or something loose in the electrical harness. He told me to correct this you will need to unplug the harness from the manifold. Then blow out the four pins of the harness with some canned air. Then plug the harness back into the manifold and it should be working. The tech said if that didn't fix the issue, you would need to reach out to Air Lift for a warranty claim.

  • Should Air Lift Wireless ONE Compressor AL25980 Run Constantly?
The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980 you have should kick on for a few seconds when you start your vehicle, and may kick on every now and then, but it should not be running constantly. Running constantly would mean you have a leak somewhere causing the compressor to need to run all of the time to keep it aired up. I recommend checking your air helper spring kit and compressor air lines with a soapy water mix to identify any leaks, and fix them. Once...

  • Troubleshooting Air Compressor Kit for Air Bag Suspension Enhancement that Leaks
It's probably not the compressor that isn't holding air and instead is the air lines of your setup. The compressors generally don't develop leaks whereas the air lines are much easier for this issue to happen. An easy way to determine where the leak is to put soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the air lines and if there's a leak you'll see bubbles. Most likely it will be near any areas where there's susceptibility to heat or moving parts and/or the fittings as well.

No, the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980 does not include air bags. The # AL25980 Kit includes the compressor, weather-resistant manifold, wireless remote, mobile app, wiring harness, and air lines. The # AL25980 lets you adjust any brand of air springs. The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System first generation 25870 and newer # AL25980 that you referenced are both considered water resistant and will handle limited exposure to water. Yes that is normal. If you let your 2014 Ford F-250 sit overnight (or a long period of time) then the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 should kick on because it is building pressure back up in the compressor. The system also kicks on with the ignition as a self checking procedure. Your air bags shouldn't be losing air. Just be sure that you power it on each time you get in your pickup because the air bags on your system should never be below 5 psi.
