Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to take a quick look at the replacement clamp for your Roctection mudflaps. This is going to work for your class five or your two and a half inch by two and a half inch hitch and ball mount that allows you to use that Roctection setup on your larger sized hitch. It comes with a bracket that looks pretty much exactly like this one, it's just meant for a two inch by two inch hitch or a class three or four. So this allows you to utilize that system with your class five hitches. So we'll take a closer look and talk a little bit more about it.It works the exact same way as that original clamp.

So we'll use those same carriage bolts and the nuts that attach this to the rest of the system. All you really need to do is just attach that to the frame that those mudflaps are hanging off of, and then tighten the lock nuts down here at the bottom. Again, it's going to be just the exact same thing as what it came with, but just for fun I'm going to measure this bolt to see how big it is so what kind of socket you'll need. It looks to be about five eighths, should be about five eighths, maybe nine sixteenths for the size of wrench that you need to actually tighten those down. Whatever you used for the first one should be the exact same thing.It is made out of hardened aluminum for this bracket.

The rest of the hardware is made out of stainless steel. So no worries about it getting rusty over time. Should last for pretty much as long as the rest of the product so should be a nice long lasting clamp to go with the rest of your gear. It is made in the USA and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the two and a half inch ball mount adapter clamp.
