I’m extremely impressed with the sales people and the entire etrailer company. From the moment they answered my phone call to the delivery of my orders they have been nothing but professional. It’s so nice to have customer service given the lack of customer service nowadays. I would recommend them and plan on ordering all my RV and truck needs in the future. Thank you for your amazing customer service!!!

  • Recommended Start Capacitor For An Advent Air RV AC System
The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 does not come with a start capacitor but you can purchase the Start Capacitor for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACMSCKIT separately to help start your AC on generator power. If you have a Coleman Mach AC system then you'll also need the # ACCOLKIT to connect this rooftop unit to your system. If you have a Carrier Air AC System then you'll also need the # ACCARKIT to connect this rooftop unit to your system. If you have a Dometic AC system...

For your old Carrier A/C you can use either the: -Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 for white, or, -The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135B for black. You're going to also need the Carrier Adapter Wiring Kit for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACCARKIT to be able to use your existing Carrier ceiling vent and thermostat. I did some research on your older Carrier unit, and it appears that you have a 13,500Btu heating capacity, ducted unit, that has the cool only option, no...

  • Replacement for 2004 Damon Daybreaker Carrier Air V 13500 btu
Try resetting the Carrier internal computer by disconnecting the 12 volt power source for a 1-1/2 minutes. This may clear the computer from what caused it to quit working correctly. Many users report that the AC will then work for some amount of time until the existing problem that caused the computer to say STOP happens again. With all power off, you can remove the rooftop shroud and ensure that parts are clean up there, especially the coils. Over heating due to dirty coils could be...

  • 15k BTU Rated AC Replacement Recommendation for 2004 Wildwood 30 BHHS Travel Trailer
Hey William, so the Advent Air AC unit part # ADV64FR would be a solid 15k BTU rated replaced for your setup. It is designed for ducted applications like you'd need as well. This also will wire right up to Advent and Dometic setups but if you have a Coleman kit currently you'd want the part # ACCOLKIT or the Carrier part # ACCARKIT to give you ability to have a plug and play wiring install.

  • Carrier Adapter Wiring Kit For Advent Air RV Air Conditioner

  • Replacement 15,000 BTU AC Unit for 2004 Carrier V 15000
The Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 that you referenced requires you to have a thermostat and inside roof vent to function properly. If the circuit board you mentioned having is basically just a standard thermostat but branded Carrier (it should be) then this will work with the # ACCARKIT as well. For a more complete setup that comes with the needed thermostat, remote, and inner vent system you'd instead want the Atwood AC unit # AT15033-22 which also is rated at 15,000 BTU.

  • Advent RV AC Units that Can be Installed in Place of Carrier Units Easily
We have Advent RV AC units that were designed to fit as replacements for Carrier units like what you have. We have the 15,000 BTU unit part # ACCAR150 that you referenced and also the 13,500 BTU unit part # ACCAR135. These come with wiring that allows you to easily plug in these units to the wiring already present from Carrier. The wiring kit adapter by itself is the part # ACCARKIT but with either unit I mentioned this is already included.

  • Replacement AC Unit for 15,000 Btu Coleman Mach 8 with Heat
You're looking for the 15,000 Btu Advent AC unit which comes in Black # ACM150B or White # ACM150. To get this to plug in directly as a replacement you also need the adapter # ACCARKIT. These work with a ducted or ductless system. These kits are the standard AC units so I also do recommend using the Start Capacitor # ACMSCKIT and then using the Heat Strip # ACMHD to add the heat function that you're looking for.

  • Is Advent Air RV AC a Good Replacement for Older Motorhome with Mounted Thermostat and Ducts
The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 15,000 Btu - White # ACM150 is a great choice for a replacement AC unit and it can be paired up with a Coleman Mach or Carrier setup using an adapter, part # ACCOLKIT or part # ACCARKIT respectively. This just plugs right in to your current setup and no changes need to be made. If you have a system that's different than this please let me know what you have and I'll see if we have something that's a plug and play style.
