Video Transcript for Review of Saris Hitch Bike Racks - SA25641
Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement wheel tray B for the Saris Freedom bike racks. Now this part will replace a B wheel tray on your Saris Freedom platform style hitch mounted bike racks. And it will also fit the Freedom Super Clamp platform style hitch mounted bike racks. Basically, when I say tray B, you can tell what that is by the stamping right here it is marked on the tray itself. It is designed to work with another wheel tray A, to hold one bike to your bike rack, and the wheel tray A, we also sell separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product and it's part number SA26537.The tray B can be installed on either side of the bike rack assembly, as long as it's matched with that wheel tray A on the opposite end.
It will accommodate tires up to four inches in width. And see if we put a ruler on that is your four inch wide measurement. It does include the wheel strap right here, and the tightening knob. The wheel strap is a ratcheting plastic strap. If you push it on that, you can release it.
And this will secure around your bike's wheels, and it holds your bike by tightening down to the tray. And the trays will secure in place with these plastic twists knobs. You can see right here, this will slide onto your bar and then you just tighten it down to hold it into place. Now this part is made in the USA. It broke during installation so I had to use a few screws to hold it on. I regret ever purchasing a Saris bike rack. The build quality is terrible.
