Video Transcript for Feature Review etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Strap w/ Buckle Protector

These etrailer cam buckle straps are going to be a perfect addition to your truck, trailer or cargo carrier. You can get them in a quantity of 1, 2 or 4, to customize the needs for your haul. The 13 foot strap is going to be great for even your bulky items, such as our generator here. We we're able to go all the way across our cargo carrier and back, ensuring it's nice and secure. The safe working load limit is 293 pounds, while the maximum load or break strength is 880 pounds and that's per strap. For a look at them in action, we took it out on our test course. On our test course, we'll take it over some bumps, so you can see how it'll handle on rough and uneven surfaces and then into our slalom, so you can see how it handles under evasive maneuvers.A couple of cool things you're going to like, is our personal etrailer touches with our neoprene cover to help prevent any scratches or abrasions from the cam buckle, as well as the integrated elastic strap to tie up that excess.

The straps themselves are made of a durable polyester webbing that's going to be abrasion resistant. Our customers compare these to ProGrips cam buckle straps and while the ProGrips are very similar, they're a little bit wider, but they have less of a capacity at only 200 pounds. Additionally, you don't get the small features, like the neoprene cover for the buckle or the elastic band to hold up your excess. They're super easy to operate, simply wrap it around whatever you want to tie down, slide your strap through and then you just pull it tight. This will cinch whatever you're hauling down, so it ain't going anywhere. If you have more excess than this, you can wrap it up and secure it in the elastic band.

Light and very flexible, strong enough for anything I've needed so far, tying down a canoe and small loads of lumber.

The straps have held up well and are more useful than I originally expected

by:

These work great for securing cargo on trailers and/or truck beds. Simple to use and holds tight. The perfect solution when a ratchet strap is complete overkill.

by:

This is a great strap, works as a ratchet strap should. Great attention to detail, the padding around the hardware and the orange strap to keep everything tidy when not in use.

by:

works as advertised

These straps work great. I use them to strap down a pair of kayaks on my truck rack. They hold really well. Buckle pad protects the side of the kayaks. Had them on numerous trips. May have to zoom in on picture to see them.

by:

It's amazing how handy these straps are. I stash them everywhere.. from the stroller to the golf cart to every car we have. They're great for tying down everything in the cargo area but really excel for securing things on roof racks from christmas trees and beach umbrellas to stand up paddle boards and kayaks.

by:

I have used the straps a few times now and they have worked as expected. The are cam buckle straps. Used them when helping my in-laws move and helped to tidy up some of the stuff on the trailer. We were moving tool boxes so I didn't use them as the main tie down, but they worked well to help keep everything contained and all the drawers closed. I typically use these to tie down my stand up paddleboards. They work very well for that, the protective cover on the buckle is a nice addition to keep it from damaging whatever you are strapping down. The keeper strap doesn't really help to tie up the excess strap while they are in use, there is not enough tension in them. But the elastic keeper strap is great for storage. My favorite thing about these over the old set I was replacing is that they wrap up and the keeper strap keeps them contained. They can go in the bin in the back of my 4runner and are ready when I need them. They don't become a tangled mess that annoys me.

by:

For the price, these were some of the cheapest straps I could find. So many hardware stores wanted outrageous prices. These have lasted me well enough with occasional use, but they do wear down. The teeth still grip perfectly well, however. I've used them to strap down items driving from Texas to Alaska, and back to Tennessee, as well as other moves totaling thousands of miles of wind, snow, and ice.

by:

I’m very impressed with the straps for the price they were sold for. Even though the price was cheap, the quality of the straps are great. Heavy duty and well made.

by:

Just received and only used once, but quality appears to be great and the straps worked well for holding two kayaks in place on my ladder rack.
Used with the foam blocks I also purchased from etrailer. The combination of these two products are perfect for my needs. Originally looked for j-type kayak racks, but was concerned someone may "borrow" them while I am out for several hours kayaking. The straps and blocks can be easily secured inside the vehicle.

by:

These seem to be lighter duty straps which will work just fine securing my two 75-lb kayaks. I haven't used them yet but have used other cinch buckle straps and these should work as well. I like the neoprene cover that goes over the buckle!

by:

Super fast delivery

by:

Great value and perform well. These straps are the perfect size and the quality is outstanding.

by:

Good straps and I like the protective neoprene buckle covers

by:

These straps work great for strapping a ladder down on my roof rack. They have just the right amount of stretch to be able to get them tight. They’re a light weight strap but they’re sure handy!

by:

solid straps, no complaints

by:

These straps are economical and work great. I use them to cinch down gas cans on the front of a watercraft trailer.

  • Parts Needed To Secure a 10LB Propane Tank To Front of Bean Teardrop Trailer
If your Bean trailer has one of the storage boxes on the front tongue you can use a Buyers Products Adjustable Tank Holder # 337TH9934 mounted on the front to hold your 10lb propane tank in place. Otherwise you will need a base like the Tank Pan # 37207-31535 and Strap # e98876 to secure it on the front of your trailer frame.

  • Adarac Pro Series Ladder Rack for a 2018 Ram 2500 Long Bed and BAKFlip Tonneau Cover
The Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A69FR is what you want for your 2018 Ram 2500 with the 8' bed. This is compatible with your BAKFlip cover whether you have the F1 # BAK72204, G2 # BAK26204, or the MX4 # BAK48204. I also recommend checking out the Tie-Down Kit # A4000882, as well as the Load Stop Kit # A4000880 . The Pro Series part # A4000955 that you referenced is actually designed for Ford Super Duty pickups with a short bed so you don't want to go with that.

  • RV Bike Cover for Airstream Fiamma Bike Rack
While I do have an RV Bike Rack cover option for you, I do not know the exact measurements of the Airsteam Fiamma Bike Rack and can't verify that it will fit in the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs - 2 Bikes # S24FR. The dimensions for this bag are 70" long x 52" tall x 24" wide. When I installed this bike rack cover, I noticed how it has a larger and more forgiving shape and size compared to other rack covers. It also has openings near the front that I think can be repurposed as the opening...

  • Best Affordable 3-Bike Trunk Mounted Rack for 2015 Kia Soul
It's better to have the capacity and not need it, than wonder "where will we put this third bike?" The extra weight capacity of the 3-bike version will also pay off in the long run since they're designed to be slightly sturdier than the 2-bike versions. The main downside is the extra length so keep that in mind when you're parking or backing into spaces with just the Kia Soul. As for choosing which one, first the Hollywood Racks Express # HRE3, while a confirmed fit, I do not recommend...
