Today we're going to take a look at the Erickson six foot long camo cam buckle tie-down straps with the S hooks on each end, and these have a 400-pound working load limit per strap. This is for a quantity of two straps. Now these tie-down straps will let you secure your gear to your truck bed, your trailer, or your cargo carrier. They do use these nice cam lock buckles here that'll hold the straps tight over your gear. And the buckle itself has a nice green, molded plastic construction, keeps it from doing any damage to the cargo you're tying down.

It is an easy push button operation to release the strap, so you just push down on the button. You can pull out as much strap as you need. Once you get it hooked, all you have to do is take your excess strap and then pull it to tighten it. Once it's tight, you just let it go. So the button, you just need to use it to release the strap.The S hooks on these, they are a nice vinyl-coated S hook.

This will help prevent the hooks from disconnecting from your anchor point. So once you connect this to your anchor point, push that safety cap on.

It helps keep it secured to the anchor point. And what's nice is these will easily snap on and off the end of each hook. And also when they're installed, they prevent the hook from catching on or scratching any cargo. The strap, you can see, is a nice camo color. It's a strong polyester webbing.Now this is for a quantity of two cam buckle straps.

The maximum load or break strength is 1,200 pounds per strap. Safe working load limit is 400 pounds per strap. The dimension on the strap itself is one inch in width, and the length is six foot long.Now one last note I do want to mention on tie-down straps, they must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of your straps being used. So, for example, if you're using these straps, they have a working load limit of 400 pounds each. And if you're tying down a load that weighs 800 pounds, then that means you're going to at least need two straps to safely secure that load.
