Is this right for you? Product Expert Kathleen M says:
Yes, if you:
Have a third brake light camera to see the color-coded latch indicators so you don't have to get in and out of your truck when hooking up
Go down washboard roads to get to your favorite campgrounds and need a little extra shock absorption to keep from feeling every bump
No, if you:
Have raised side rails - since this hitch sits low in the bed, it might not give you enough space for your trailer to clear
Have a trailer with a rotating pin box, such as the Reese Sidewinder, Reese Revolution, or 5th Airborne Sidewinder
Would rather have an American-made hitch

Secure, Two-Piece Jaw
Unlike slide-bar models, the rounded, two-piece jaw on this fifth-wheel trailer hitch inhibits rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin, resulting in easier hookup and a safer, quieter ride.
Three-Point Indicator System
Get peace of mind with Curt's color-coded lock indicator. Just look at the indicator - either the one on the handle or the one on the hitch itself - to determine whether the jaw is in the correct position to uncouple (red), couple (yellow) or tow (green).
360-Degree Pivot
Curt's unique spherical axial bearing provides a durable pivot point that allows easy, 360-degree movement of the hitch head. This ball joint is designed for smooth, quiet operation with less clunking and chucking.

At this point I am only able to rate the purchase process, shipping process, and installation process. All three were excellent. A few comments: I took the advise of the etrailer associate that helped me in the purchase process. The shipping worked out OK. Freight company had the item on a pallet in 2 boxes. We were able to remove the 2 boxes and slide them out of the back of the truck in a manner I could move them in the rear of our side by side. ( A wheel barrow would have worked fine too.). Assembly was a basic follow the good instructions process. The items were a bit heavy for one person (at 70 years old). It sure appears to be a good design and heavy duty. I expect the important towing function will be very satisfactory. If not, I will so report later.1197605

After a year of using the hitch for several trips including an 5200 mile extended trip, I find the hitch to be satisfactory and functional. After learning by experience a few little quirks of using the hitch, I am able to engage and disengage the mechanism a bit faster and smoother. My main disappointment was discovering by observation and discussion with other 5th wheelers there are hitches available that do attach to the goose neck hitch. I do wish the associate that helped me in the shopping process presented this option. summary: The hitch is a good one, I simply did not know what I did not know about the hitches available for my application.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years.
A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer.
I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road.
Overall I am very pleased.790177
My hitch is still flawless and looks new. After a year and at least 30 trips, I have no complaints and would still highly recommend the Curt 2500# hitch

It is always great to have a store where you know you are getting the best price & highest quality products. Our Curt 25000 lb hitch showed up quickly & the instructions were easy to follow. We have been enjoying several trips without any issues with noises, binding or unexpected loose & sloppy hitch engagement. It is nice to have a strong, clean and simple hitch that provides security in towing our 45’ toyhauler. Thanks for a wonderful product & experience. 581342

Very functional design with its color indicator for engagement status, very HEAVY duty, couldn’t be happier with this this 5th wheel hitch. Good value.571437

It reduced chucking and took the play out when hooked-up. It is however much more fussy about accuracy when hooking up. But as long as you use reasonable care when hooking up it is a substantial improvement over the single jaw.858415

On the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # C16265 and previous question that references O-ring size. The needed diameter is 31.5 mm, for thickness, an O-ring of about 2 or 3mm is sufficient. Its exact thickness is not crucial as it is not required for creating a seal but rather in place for purpose of creating a stop location.
Within the "INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS" for the Q25 (current online copy is linked below) page 6 in text under figure 9, it states "...The O-ring retainer stop... view full answer...
The Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16265 will fit industry-standard base rails, which is almost certainly what the Reese rails you have in your truck are. You can verify this by taking a quick measurement of yours, using the accompanying photo as a guide for what your rails should measure, which is 22 inches front to back on center with the mounting holes measuring and either 20-1/2 inches or 29 inches wide.
If this is not what you have you would need to get new base rails for your... view full answer...

It looks like you're asking if the Curt Q series fifth wheel hitches are compatible with your MORryde pin box.
Yes, hitches like the Curt Q25 # C16265 will work with a MORryde. This is the 25,000 pound hitch that fits into industry standard rails. If you can tell me the year, make, model, and bed length of your truck I can help you find the correct hitch and install kit that fits. Or if you have the factory prep package we may have a hitch that fits without an install kit. view full answer...

The difference between the Curt A25 part # C16180 and the Curt Q25 part # C16265 is the jaw system. I have attached a photo for your reference. The A25 is an upgraded version of the Q25 because of it's interlocking jaw. The A25 interlocking jaw results in full contact with the king pin on the fifth wheel which reduces the rattle and chucking you may experience with a looser king pin connection. Although both options are great fifth wheel hitches with 25,000 lbs of towing capacity, the A25... view full answer...

There are a few differences between the Curt A25 part # C16180 and Curt Q25 part # C16265. The most notable is the jaw design. The A-Series has a dual interlocking jaw system which forms a much tighter grip on the kin pin therefore provides a smoother ride. The Q-Series has dual locking jaws but they don't interlock. The A-Series also has a one pin head removal system which helps when frequently installing or removing the hitch. The dampening mechanism built-into the head is different as... view full answer...
The hitch jaws that grip the 5th wheel's king pin and the suspension system (for the lack of a better term) for the hitch head are the main differences between the A25 and the Q25.
The A25 like the # C16180 uses an interlocking jaw system that does a better job of holding the king pin tightly, making contact with the king pin all around its 360° circumference. This leads to less rattling and banging which makes for a more comfortable ride. The A25 use a torsion dampening system in the... view full answer...
The Curt Q25 # C16265 had some issues with the jaws that the company corrected, so you shouldn't have any issues. The A25 # C16180 came on the market with stronger materials and a different jaw design that interlocked and came with a lifetime limited warranty versus the 10 year limited warranty of the Q25.
The Q25 has an axial bearing that allows head movement 360 degrees, so it is able to function differently. The Q25 has easy 2 pin head removal. The A25 has easy 1 pin head removal.... view full answer...
For your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 Curt has a version of their 25k fifth wheel hitches that fit directly to your factory rail kit but the # C16265 does not so it would not be what I would recommend. Instead the best option is the A25 Hitch for GM Rail kits part # C16066 which does fit directly and has a better jaw design that will hold the king pin tighter (quieter ride when towing) view full answer...
The main difference between the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16180 and the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16265 is the hitch head. The head on the A25 is far superior to the head on the Q25 because it has an interlocking jaw system that grips the kingpin tightly so very minimal movement is allowed, it offers a one pin head removal system. The overall feel of the head is just much smoother on the A-Series when compared to the Q-Series.

The Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # C16180 is the newer model of the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # C16265. The A25 has an interlocking dual jaw for increased security. The A25 also has built in grease zerk fittings to make maintenance just a little easier. It also has a 1 pin head removal compared to the 2 pin option of the Q25.
They are both nice 5th wheel hitches, but the A25 has those couple of really nice features as an upgrade.... view full answer...
If you have a set of industry standard fifth wheel rails installed in the bed of your 2015 Ram 3500 the Curt 25k Q25 part # C16265 would fit and work well. The industry standard rails are the ones that sit 22 inches apart on center.
If instead you had the Ram factory rail kit you'd want the part # C16049 which is a 25k Curt hitch that fits that rail kit as well. view full answer...
According to Curt the A25 hitch # C16180 is a rebranded Q25 with a head that is made of stronger material. The A25 is the newer version. The changes made to the head address some issues with head failure associated with the Q25.
The Q25 was a beefier version of the Q24. view full answer...
If you already have 5th wheel above-bed base rails installed in your 2014 Ford F-450 Super Duty then you can absolutely install the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16265. This and other 5th wheel hitches use an industry-standard configuration (see photo please).
Do note that the 22-inch front-to-back rail spacing is rounded up (from 21-11/16-inches) which is the industry-standard center-to-center slot spacing. If the base rails in your truck have a wider spacing for some reason then... view full answer...
The Curt Q25 fifth wheel hitch part # C16265 that you referenced can be used easily in the bed of your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 long bed. What you need is a fifth wheel rail kit installed in the bed of your truck though.
For that we have the part # C16420-204 which is a custom fit kit designed for your truck. A custom install rail kit like this will install in about half the time as a universal install rail kit and will minimize drilling. view full answer...
As far as fifth wheel hitches go the Curt Q25 # C16265 does have a higher capacity at 25,000 lbs which would be a great option. But you'd have to consider the weight of the trailer you plan to tow plus the weight of the cars as well.
This is just the hitch though. You will need to install a rail kit in the bed of your 2003 Ford F-250 as well so that the hitch has something to attach to. For that you would want the # C16443-204 which has been confirmed as a fit for your truck and would... view full answer...
