Buyers Products 2" Forged SAE weldable Trailer King Pin provides strength and reliability in coupling your fifth wheel. Forged from AISI 8630 steel and heat treated to maintain a hardness of 302-363 BHN and 150,000 PSI in ultimate strength. The King Pin has a 1/4" thick bolster plate and a 3" bolster plate hole thickness.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two-inch forge SAE trailer kingpin. This trailer kingpin provides strength and reliability and cuffling 00:00:08 your fifth wheel. It's forged from AISI 8630 steel, and heat treated to maintain a hardness of 302-363BHN, and 150000 PSI in ultimate strength.The kingpin has a quarter-inch thick bolster plate, so you see this little lip right here That measurement is a quarter of an inch from this plate right here to the edge of the lip, so that's a quarter inch. Again, quarter inch thick bolster plate.We're looking at a forged steel construction, plain finish. It is a weld-on installation. Overall diameter gives us a measurement of around eight inches.
From the very bottom of the unit to the very top of the unit, I'll place that flat edge up there and then I'll measure up to that. That gives a measurement of about four and one-quarter inches. Then from the bottom of the unit to the bottom of this plate right here, that's about three and nine-16ths inches.This portion of the unit has an outer diameter of two and 13-16ths inches. This area right here has a diameter of two inches, and the base has a diameter of three inches. Again, it's made from forged steel construction, and the products are made in the USA.

I welded a hook on the back of this unit and when needed, attach it to our overhead hoist. This make installing the fifth Wheel hitch fully assembled into the truck bed - VERY EASY!

I installed the King Pin into a Goose Neck and customer is very satisfied. I liked the quality of the material the pin is made from. Welding using 1/8" E7018 was a snap!
