It's a really nice hitch. It is sometime a little difficult to get it to lock around the king pin. The color indicator is very helpful.
Received product but box was damaged and looks like hitch got dropped. The handle was sticking out the box and the packaging inside was all destroyed. UPS. Nice work.. so ups lost the bolts to connect the pieces and I called etrailer and they will send out replacements.

I bought this 5th wheel hitch for my Ford F-350 after going into the camper transport business. After attaching the legs it fit perfectly into the bed. The hitch is a little bit heavy so after the initial setup I rigged a sling with a hoist to help move it in and out when needed since I’m usually by myself. Although it comes greased from the factory,I put a couple of shots of grease into each fitting for peace of mind. I’ve hauled around 20 different 5th wheel units and haven’t had a bit of trouble. It hooks up easy and has minimal slop. Not all king pins are the same. I really like the floating head.

I installed this into the 5th wheel prep package that comes on a 2016 Ram 3500. Although I installed the prep package myself, the CURT system dropped right in. It took me about 90 min to assemble and install the hitch system in my truck with very little adjustment. The directions were easy to follow and felt it all went very smooth. When O was finished I hooked up my RV w/o any problems. I am very pleased with this set up and would definitely install it again. The only drawback it the weight but it's to be expected w/ a 25k lb system
I purchased a higher rated (weight) Curt hitch to prevent 'rolling' forward during hard stops. The new hitch far exceeds my trailer weight but I continue to have the problem, although not as often. I had the new hitch professionally installed.

very nice hitch , shipped relay fast 3 days to east coast, easy to install : had rails from old hitch,
it did come a LITTLE scratched up from shipping . one thing i wish it had more height / it does sit lower than old hitch buy 1 inch. haven't tried pulling yet / will up date latter . hope it pulls as good as it looks.
now no problem for bigger trailer, i hope! maybe a toy hauler?

OUTSTANDING! From customer service to delivery. Ordered the hitch on a Saturday evening and received an email stating they did not have the legs for my hitch to fit in my RAM, but would contact dealer first thing Monday morning. Monday I receive another email that the parts had shipped. Tuesday I picked up the hitch and installed it in less than an hour! Total time from shipping to receiving was less than 30 hours! Poor packaging. No protection. One part of delivery arrived quite damaged. The second part wasn't delivered at all. The reason given by UPS ..... damaged in transit.
No bubble wrap used. Parts baggie not taped to hitch frame. Everything just loose in oversized box.

Have not had the opportunity to use the new hitch to pull our RV, but did hook up to the RV to check height and ease of hookup, it's great, very happy with this hitch so far.

I love dealing with Etrailer, unit came in one piece and early......and OMG this hitch is incredible!! 4 bolts and it's in. I hitched up literally in minutes. CURT makes it idiot proof...
Received the hitch in a few days from purchase, the boxes were beat up a bit but the contents were perfect. Assembled the hitch to the legs, then dropped it into the OEM pucks in the truck. A few quick adjustments to the locking legs and it was in place.
First hookup to my trailer was a breeze, I had the hitch on the lowest setting and it was right at the right height for my trailer. Lined up and backed in, the locking mechanism snapped into place immediately, flipped the locking lever and put the snap ring in place and was ready to go.
Unhooking was just as easy, no pressure on the jaws and it slid open and the trailer was free.
Great value for such a heavy hitch, would buy again, etrailer was fantastic to deal with as well.
This product is certainly stout. It doesn't seem to have any ability to rock and roll with terrain which concerns me some.
