Speaker 1: Today we're gt be taking a look at the Wagan Tech Power Inverter 1,000 Watts with 3 AC Receptacles, part number WC3720. This heavy-duty inverter can give you 1,000 watts of continuous power. That's enough to run most household appliances, and also great for road trips, on the job site quick applications, and for convenience in emergency situations while camping. When comparing this to other power inverters on our website, this one's going to be the most heavy-duty. 1,000 watts far exceeds the capacity of other inverters. This one does require a little bit more install, as you have to hook it up to the battery directly, and if you want to store it inside the vehicle it can be more difficult to run the wires from your inside to the outside. The other inverters typically plug in through your power outlet, so they're just plug and play.

If you need that extra juice, this is the way to go.It has three power receptacles, two USB ports, and an on/off switch. It comes with one 3 foot power cable and one 3 foot crown cable. There's ring eyelets at each end of the cable that can be connected to your battery and the other end securely connected to your inverter. Its small, portable design will allow you to take it out of your truck when you need it. Just connect the positive cable to the positive on your battery.

This could be noted by red coloring and a plus symbol. Connect your negative to the negative cable on your battery, and this can be noted by a black cable and the minus symbol. Then connect the black to the negative on your inverter and the red to the positive on your inverter.Let's take a look and see what this thing can do. We can power our grinder here, and plenty of other tools. With 1,000 watts at 120 volts, that's roughly 8.3 amps.

It has built in safety features such as auto-reset, short circuit protection, overload protection, low battery alarm and shut down, and a cooling fan. The two USB ports put out 5 volts and share a 3 amp output. Here we've got our Redarc mounted inside of our vehicle. This is ideal for long road trips. This way, you got kids in the back, they can plug in their Xbox, laptops. It's also great for business trips.

Here we've got our laptop plugged in, and it's powered directly off of our inverter here. If you need to use your laptop or you need to charge it up on a long road trip, this is perfect for those traveling businessmen; you're ready to go at any time. Never miss a meeting, Skype conference, or email with this system. When you're done with work, plug in your Xbox and have some fun. Whether you're out on a road trip, taking a break at a rest stop, you have two jobs and you're taking a break between jobs chilling your truck, on the slopes but you're taking a moment to warm up, so you can stop and have some fun, stream some movies from your gaming system, pop in your favorite game, hang out with friends anywhere, anytime. With these three outlets you can use multiple devices and push your vehicle's utility to the limits. Now, you are going to need some additional wire to run this up from the battery from here. You can get some additional wire at etrailer.com with part number BBW20026. This will have enough wire to run from the battery back to your Redarc in any position, and will also be ideal if mounting it inside of your RV, because it's a 24 foot length of wire, 3 gauge thickness so it can handle the amperage drawn 00:03:16. Now, if running your own wire, you're likely going to need some new eyelets to connect it to your battery and to your inverter. You can pick some of these up at etrailer.com with part number SWC57048.Now, if you're mounting your inverter inside your vehicle permanently, it is a good idea to have your cable hooked to a circuit breaker or fuse just in case of emergencies, if there's a collision or the wire would short out, it wouldn't cause and welding to the vehicle or potentially a fire hazard. The circuit breaker we're using here on our project is part number PK54871PL, and this is rated for 100 amps so it'll be able to provide plenty of juice back to our 1,000 watt inverter. When hooking up the circuit breaker for your inverter, you're going to want to put the battery positive to your inverter on one side of the circuit breaker, and then a cable from the circuit breaker to the battery on the other side. This will ensure that you're properly protected. That completes our look at the Wagan Tech Power Inverter 1,000 Watts with 3 AC Receptacles.

Haven't used the product yet , however, the USPS did nice job of practically destroying the package and took it forever to get here. I would prefer ups or fed ex because it seems like they care. 542767

  • Best Way To Power an Enclosed Travel Trailer
I do have a few options for you to power a cordless drill, lights, and coffee pot inside you enclosed travel trailer but using a solar panel would not be the best or most cost effective setup. Basically, you are going to end up having to cover the entire roof of your trailer to power the above items. Instead, I recommend purchasing a 12 volt auxiliary battery like the one you would find in a car and then using a power inverter like part # WC3720 as well as a battery charger like part...

  • Can Inverter Run Off Trailer Battery to Cool Fridge When Driving
You can absolutely connect the Power Inverter 1000 Watts with Three AC Receptacles # WC3720 as a way to run your Furrion Refrigerator for RVs # FCR17ADA-BL while you are traveling. To do so you would use a battery box like you mentioned, the NOCO Snap-Top Battery Box with Strap for Group 24 to Group 31 Batteries - Vented # 329-HM318BKS, but you would also need a charger for that battery. The charger will take power from your tow vehicle's battery and charge the auxiliary battery which is...

To connect your Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 40 Amp # 331-BCDC1240D, you will need the 60-Amp MIDI Fuse Kit for Redarc In-Vehicle 40-Amp BCDC Battery Charger # 331-FK60. This will protect your vehicle and battery from potentially damaging overcurrent from short circuits or overloads. You will run the Red Wire from your RedArc unit to the fuse, and then from the fuse to the positive battery terminal on your vehicle start battery. I've...

Continuous power does not mean modified or pure sine wave. If you have a specific model you are looking at, I can help further. For instance, the Power Inverter 1000 Watts with Three AC Receptacles # WC3720 says continuous power and is a Modified Sine Wave AC Output waveform. Some of the sample applications are even confusing as they are often used as Pure Sine wave applications, but based on the size are adequate. Then the Pure Sine Wave inverter, the Wagan Elite 200 Watt PRO Pure...

You can absolutely use a battery in your trailer to do all the things you desire. You will simply want to get a deep cycle battery and get the amp hour rating you desire. • Powering a Refrigerator in a Trailer While Towing
Some items in a trailer or RV will run off of 12 volt DC power or AC power so if your fridge runs when not connected to shore power then it will run off of the battery. That battery can receive a maintenance charge from the 12 volt circuit on a 7-Way trailer connector but the fridge would draw power faster than the 12 volt circuit can charge. What you would need to do to provide the best charge to the battery is use a DC to DC charger while you are towing such as # CTEK40186. If the...

A 10,000 btu air conditioner in going to require around 2,000 watts for startup and 700 watts of continuous power to run. I recommend using one of the Kat's Heaters pads, like part # KH22200, from the linked selection as they are specifically designed for batteries. These do plug into an AC power source though so you would need access to that kind of outlet or use an inverter like the Go Power # 34280175 or Wagan # WC3720 to convert DC power to AC power for the heater. If all of your trailer lights and appliances run off of 120V then the 12 volt battery is not going to power them. you will need to add 12 volt accessories and lights to the trailer. • Inverter Recommendation for Powering Outdoor Refrigerator
What you are asking about is very possible, but you'll want to consider how much amperage the fridge draws to see if your charging system/battery will handle the load. Going with heavier gauge wire is definitely recommended. Especially since you mentioned it's a distance of 20 feet. How heavy does depend on the amperage draw of the fridge as well. The Wagan inverter part # WC3720 would be a great choice for this as it can put out up to 1,000 watts of continuous power. One of it's intended...
