What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out the Wagan tech cup holder charger. So this is gonna be something that plugs in your 12 volt and gives you two more 12 volts and two more USB ports and it fits in your cup holder. Let's check it out. This cup holder charger is gonna be really useful because it takes that 12 volt and gives you more ports. So if you have multiple people in the car, you don't have to fight over the chargers.

So you have two USB ports. We're charging an iPad and my phone at the same time. Plus we still have two more 12 volt ports if we need them for anything else. Taking a closer look at the charger with everything unplugged, you can see the USB ports and then the 12 volt ports are actually illuminated with a blue light. So I like that even at nighttime.

If you're in your vehicle, you can easily find the ports to plug into. Taking a look at the lights up top with the vehicle off, it's gonna let you know where the battery is when you do power on the vehicle. So this is with the vehicle off. I'm gonna put in accessory mode. You see the lights are not on high yet because the vehicle isn't running so we're about mid on power.

But if we turn on the vehicle you see it's got the 12 volt light right now and telling you we've got low power in this mode. But once (engine revving) I turn on the vehicle we go all the way up to high. The measurements of the charger are gonna be three inches long by three inches wide and then two inches tall. So it's about the size of a can of soda. So you see it fits in the cup holder.

There's a little room to spare in our cup holders today but it's gonna stay in place. The chargers are gonna get powered by this 12 volt port. So we'll plug it in here in the vehicle. You're gonna see the green light lets us know it is getting power and we have 38 inches of cord length to work with to get to that cup holder. To give you a better idea, I can run the charger all the way back behind the center console and bring it down to the floor in the back of the vehicle. So if you had cup holders down here, you'd be able to use it back there as well as the front. It's got a 10 amp fuse built in so that if there's any overload, it's gonna protect the electronics that you have plugged in. Overall, I like this cup holder charger. Definitely helpful to take one port and make it into four. That way everyone can charge all their devices in the vehicle when you're going on the road. Well, I think that does it.
