Ignik Topside Heated Blanket - 12V - Arctic Camo

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Ignik Arctic camo topside heated blanket. This heated blanket is going to run off of 12 volt power to give you warmth, and this is going to be a good blanket to have on hand, even in the most remote locations. Now, as you can see here, I do have the blanket folded up on my tabletop here. It is rather large, too large to lay it out evenly on my table for you to see it all.

So that's why I kind of have it folded up here. But just to kind of give you an idea of the size here, the overall length is right at 72 inches long, and then the overall width is about 52 inches wide. So this is gonna be designed to work for one person and lemme give you a closeup. Before I do, I do want to show you here that at the corner here we have a pocket and this pocket can zip open. And in it you will find the plug for the 12 volt outlet and the controller here.

So let me zoom in here to give you a closer look at this. So what we have here is our smart controller and this is going to allow you to control the temperature and the heat. And then it also will have a heat level display here as well. Now, I could plug this in and try to show you that display, but it really doesn't come across too well over the camera, especially with my bright studio lights here. But your display will be right here.

You'll have your controls here and so you're gonna have full control of the blanket. You're gonna be able to control the heat preferences and the controller will actually remember your heat preferences in three different zones. And then you have your plugin here for that 12 volt outlet. So this power cord is obviously gonna plug into any DC accessory power outlet in your vehicle or in your power station. So if you wanted to like use this outside, you could bring your power station with you and plug that in as it sits right beside you to power up this blanket.

Now the maximum temperature that this blanket has is 140 degrees Fahrenheit and it's a 48 watt max heat output. So this is gonna be very easy to control. And then, like I said, when you're ready to store this, this is all the cords and the plugin and the controller, you'll just kind of wrap that up, fold up the cords there, and then it will easily pop right into this storage pocket just like that. So that's pretty cool. Lemme see if I can give you a closeup of that again. Now, the upper heat zone of this blanket and foot zone of this blanket, as you can see on the graphic there, are going to emit extra heat to keep your extremities warmer. And then the middle heat zone is going to emit less heat to prevent your core from getting too hot. So that graphic kind of shows you where the heating elements are. This does have a built-in adjustable timer that's going to prolong battery life. Going in for another closeup here, The what I'm calling the exterior here is polyester. It kind of reminds me of like a nylon feel. It's slippery. So I would imagine that if you would spill some fluids on here, it would easily just roll off. It'd be pretty easy to clean up. But on what I'm calling the inside, this has a really nice non-slip micro suede material. So it's going to feel, it's gonna feel very warm immediately. I actually had this on and I didn't even have it plugged in. I just put it around my shoulders and immediately it's warm. Now this also, I mentioned that I kind of wore this just to feel what it was like, had my coworker here take some goofy pictures of me here wearing this. This does feature tape mode connectors, so you can wrap this around your shoulders as you can see there, and just kind of have it around you and you're not gonna have to worry about it accidentally slipping off. And then going from my closeup again here, just, I just wanted to show you those connectors. So you'll just wrap this around your shoulders and connect that and then it will hold in place. Now I'm going back, I'm gonna go for an overhead view. Just to kind of give you another angle on this. The eco-friendly 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and insulation is going to make this lightweight, but it's also going to minimize your environmental footprint. Here's a view of the inside again, so really nice material there on the inside of this. And Ignik calls this color, this pattern, an Arctic camo pattern. So it's kind of a greenish, dark greenish color with this pattern here. And so hopefully that comes across the camera pretty well. Now, if you're not too crazy about this color, we do have other options from Ignik as well. So as of the time of the recording this video, we do also have a blue option that you can see there on the left and a blue tan option that you see there on the right. I also wanted to show you that this does include this matching drawstring bag. So when you're ready to pack up, you can just fold this blanket up and put it into this bag and then pull the drawstring and it'll be nice and portable and it'll be ready for you the next time you need it.
