Functions and Features

The inverter includes 2 standard North American outlets for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals with battery clamps that connect to your batteries, 12V DC adapter, USB port for charging small electronic devices, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately).

The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage and overloading. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.

How It Installs

The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals use battery clamps that connect to your batteries or you can use the 12V DC adapter.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter. This heavy-duty modified sine wave inverter converts DC power to AC household power wherever you go. This is perfect for smaller loads like portable electronics and tools. It runs any device and wattage range without interference.On this end right here we have the dual standard outlets. We also have a USB outlet. And we have our on and off switch and two notification LEDs.

One is a power indicator and the other one is a fault indicator.On the other end we have the connection points to secure the battery bank negative and positive cables to the inverter. This post right here, this is the chassis ground. So you'd use this connection ground the exposed chassis of the inverter to the chassis ground. And then we have our cooling fan here so it prevents the unit from overheating.Really nice design. Small, compact, heavy-duty steel case.

It's strong and durable. It offers full overload protection nit's compatible with 12 volt systems. It is designed to be used with deep-cycle lead acid batteries, gel, and AGM batteries can be used but keep in mind that they do require special charging procedures which you can learn more about in the included instructions.It does come with a couple accessories, some battery cables. These battery cables have ring terminals on one end and clips on the other. This one has ring terminals on one end and the accessory plug on the other end.And when it comes to the overall dimensions of the unit going edge to edge this direction, that measures about 6 and 1/4, maybe 6 and 5/16ths if we include the outermost point which would be right here.

Top to bottom is about two and almost two and 1/2 inches. It's actually about two and 9/16ths, so just a 16th of an inch over two and 1/2 inches. When it comes to the width that's gonna give us a measurement at the base of around four inches, at the widest point it's about four and 1/4.Now, the continuous output power is 400 watts. Peak surge power is 800 watts. The AC output voltage is 100 volt to 120 volts.

Input voltage range, 10.5 volts to 16 volts DC. The AC output waveform is modified sine wave. Maximum efficiency is 80% and the battery drain with no AC with no AC load is less than or equal to 0.7 amps.The product is lightweight. It only weighs about a pound and a half or so, 1.54 pounds. The low battery alarm is at 10.5 volts plus or minus 0.5 volts, and low battery shut down is at 10 volts give or take 0.5 volts.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter.
