Troubleshooting Error E2 on Advent Air AC Unit

Updated 05/29/2024 | Published 07/06/2023

Question:

I just purchased an advent 15000 btu to replace the 13500 in my 2013 aspen trail. When I turned it on, I have a E2 code. I tried putting the condenser probe in the freezer for 30min but still have the same code. What else should I be looking at?

The e2 error of the Advent Air AC Units is for an Indoor Coil Temp Sensor Defect. To fix this check wire connections and ensure sensor is properly installed or replace sensor.

@Tom It's going to be pushed into the condenser fins so you'd need to basically look for a wired sensor that is in the middle of the condenser.
