Trailer 7-Way Wiring For Hart Horse Trailer That Pulled From Plug
Question:
I pulled the wires out of the plug nothing is broke, but I only have 6 wires no blue wire. On the plug it is not labeled by color, but function. I know that I can make it work, as everything worked before the wires were pulled out. Help I don’t know how to hook up the wires. I have red, brown, yellow, white, black and green wires.

I have included a picture for the trailer 7-way connection and the typical wire colors used and their location. As the wire colors are not standard for every trailer you will want to confirm what each wire does. The easiest way is to use a 12 volt battery to isolate what each wire does on the trailer. If you do not have the capability to do this you can also use trial and error.
The wires are most likely as follows.
Red- Left Turn/Brake Light
Brown- Right Turn/Brake Light
Yellow- Reverse Lights
White- Ground
Black- 12 Volt Power
Green- Running Lights
I have linked an article below that you can reference for additional help.
