Troubleshooting Arms on Roadmaster Falcon 2 Not Locking Into Place
Question:
Most of the time when I hookup only one arm locks. So then I turn in the direction of the locked arm and still does not lock. Actually the distance on the unlocked arm gets shorter. I wind trying to get the car even on both sides so when I pull forward they both lock. I have seen other people with a Falcon 2 being able to pull forward and both arms lock. And if my memory serves me right when I first started using it I would just pull forward and both arms would lock. What do I need to do?

Your memory does serve you right and both arms on your Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 are designed to "lock up" as this is not a non-binding tow bar; whether or not they've been able to get the arms to lock without performing the two sharp turns I don't know to be true. With that said, since you're going through the setup procedure that would normally cause the arms to lock, it would appear your bar might be damaged.
I recommend using the Complete Repair Kit for Roadmaster Falcon 2 and BlackHawk Tow Bars # RM-910003-60, which will replace all of the replaceable small and moving parts on your Falcon 2 tow bar and should get everything back to working order.
The only other alternative, would be replacing it with another # RM-520.
