I may have a solution for you, but I was not able to find any information on which model the #1112D corresponds to, since there are 2 different models in the VW Beetle and the VW Super Beetle. If you've got a SuperBeetle then I recommend using the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # BX3809 and Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar - A-Frame - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs # BX4330. This tow bar comes with safety cables included, so it's one less thing that you'll need to complete your flat towing setup.
For a complete flat towing system you'll also need tow bar wiring/lighting, supplemental braking and possibly a high/low adapter. For the wiring/lighting I recommend using the Tow Ready Tail Light Isolating Diode System # TR118821, which will allow your Beetle's lights to work in conjunction with your RV's. This system has diodes in place to help protect from back feed in the event of an electrical malfunction and it plugs directly into the vehicle lights, so it's a nice option that's easy to install.
For supplemental braking I recommend the Brake Buddy Classic # HM39494 which is easy to setup and provides you proportional braking for your Beetle that won't break the bank. Supplemental braking is required in most states and provinces, but it's also going to help prolong the life of your RV's brakes since it takes some of the stopping stress off the coach, so even if it's not required by law it's got that additional benefit.
You may also need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level during travel. I've linked a helpful article on how to measure correctly to find out whether or not you need one, as well as provided our entire selection of adapters that you can use in your setup.
I've also linked some product review and installation videos of these parts for you to check out. If you've got a standard, non Super Beetle, let me know and I can look into available solutions for that.
