2019 Subaru Outback Tongue Weight w/ 24x60 etrailer e98874 Cargo Carrier
Question:
I recently had the 306-X7601 EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver installed on my 2019 Subaru Outback 2700 lbs towing capacity. Im looking to add the 24x60 etrailer.com Cargo Carrier and curious what the rough max load I carry with this system inclusive of the 48lb weight of the carrier. Im a bit stumped on how to calculate tongue weight. Thank you.

In the owner's manual after several readings, I found that Subaru mentions that the trailer's tongue weight should be between 8-11% of the trailer weight, not to exceed 200 lbs.
Minus the packaging, the # e98874 etrailer 24x60 cargo carrier weighs just below 50 lbs, so this would leave you a bit more than 150 lbs of cargo capacity on the carrier without exceeding the tongue weight capacity mentioned by Subaru.
I've linked you to a product description video featuring the carrier you'd looked at.

Thank you for digging for that info. Using the 8% I determine I can tow 2500lb. Have I missed anything ? Many thanks
