Is Spoiler Clearance an Issue for the Saris Bones 3 on a 2015 Toyota Prius

Question:
I have had a Saris bones 3 for years but just bought a 2015 Prius 3. The racks feet are fine they make contact in the right places, but the straps are resting on and maybe pulling on the spoiler: Im afraid they will damage it not just hurt the paint but break the spoiler. Thoughts?

Spoiler clearance is a very important thing when it comes to trunk mount bike racks because, as you mentioned, if there isn't enough clearance you could damage the spoiler.
We have determined that the Saris Bones 3 bikes racks, like part # SA801BL, on a 2015 Toyota Prius is a confirmed fit. I can also say that Saris has tested and approved their bike rack for use on your vehicle.
