I am trying to decide between these 2 boxes. Which one do you recommend? Which one is quieter? Overall which one is built better? Thanks,

Both the Thule Pulse Rooftop Cargo Carrier, # TH614, and the Yakima RocketBox Pro Rooftop Cargo Carrier, # Y07192, are quality cargo carrier that will work with your 2012 Land Rover.

Both have a capacity of 14 cubic feet and both cargo carrier will include a locks and keys to secure your belongings. Both boxes are aerodynamically designed to cut down on wind drag and noise.

However, I do like the Yakima RocketBox over the Thule Pulse because of a couple of features that Yakima has integrated on the RocketBox. The Yakima box can be opened from either side of the vehicle. This feature makes accessing the cargo box much easier than the Thule Pulse which only can be opened from one side of the vehicle. Also, the Yakima RocketBox uses 4 interior cargo straps to secure gear in the box, while the Thule box only uses two straps.
