Wiring Harness for Towing a Trailer with a 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro 4 X
Question:
I bought a used Nissan Xterra Pro 4 X, 2011 model. How do I know which wiring package to buy for wiring a simple 4 flat connector to pull a small utility trailer? How do I tell if it has a tow package wiring already installed?

Expert Reply:
Since you don't currently have a 4-way trailer connector on your 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro 4 X you can use the Curt T-Connector # C56225 wiring harness. It includes all of the jumpers and relays you'll need to activate the tow package.
I've linked an install video for you.
