Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2008 Toyota Yaris 3-Door Hatchback

I owns 2008 Toyota yaris 2 doors and hatchback I want to get a roof rack to hold a 9foot 47# porta bote It appears that I need to get the short roof rack Is that true? Is there any other alternative since this one is quite expensive Thanks in advance

First thing you need to do is check the roof capacity of your 2008 Toyota Yaris and compare it to the weight of your PortaBote. We have a roof rack that will fit your 2008 Toyota Yaris Hatchback well, but you don't want to exceed the roof capacity.

The Thule Rack that consists of part numbers # THLB50, # TH480, # TH487, and # THKIT1677 is a confirmed fit that would work well, but it has a capacity of 110 lbs. I attached an install video for this rack on a similar Yaris as yours.

You should be totally fine to carry your Porta Bote with your Thule SUP Taxi Stand Up Paddleboard Carrier part # TH810001. The dimensions and weight of your Porta Bote are compatible with the # TH810XT so it should work very well for you.
