Question:
Getting ready to buy and I was looking at the installation directions for the power steering cooler and it shows it going thru the factory installed cooler first. I don't think has a factory cooler (that's why I'm getting one) , so shall I have to get one of those first?

Adding coolers like a power steering fluid cooler and a transmission fluid cooler will help prolong the life of those components. You will want to consider the location for the cooler you install. I have attached a drawing that shows the best locations for mounting the transmission cooler.
For your 2008 Honda Odyssey the transmission cooler you referenced, part # D13502 would work well. This is a Class lll cooler and comes with the mounting kit, OEM spec hose along with stainless steel clamps included. This cooler measures 11 X 7-1/4 X 7/8 inch. Depending on the installation, you may need additional hose, part # D13003.
The power steering fluid cooler I recommend is part # D13200. This is a 2-pass cooler that measures 12-5/8 X 2-1/2 X 3/4 inches. This includes the hose, clamps, and mounting hardware needed for installation. I have attached a drawing that shows how a power steering cooler is typically installed.
