This ball mount offers two distinguishing features that provide a smooth towing experience. First, a threaded, stainless steel hitch pin weaves securely through a threaded hole in the ball mount. This innovation pulls the ball mount to the receiver tube and eliminates the horizontal (left to right) gap that leads to rattling . Second, as the ball mount is pulled to the side, the floating "gold wedge" is pushed to the top of the receiver tube and wedged in place.
