Edge Juice Module - 2007.5-2008 Chevy / GMC 6.6L Duramax LMMThe Juice module is an add-on Engine Control Module for the Duramax engine that offers additional features not available with the factory setup. As an add-on ECM, it uses all the factory data and then enhances the factory settings to optimize your truck's performance. With four (including stock) selectable power levels via an in-cab position switch, the Juice module offers an increase of up to 50 horsepower and 95 foot pounds of torque. The Juice greatly improves responsiveness and driveability, while at the same time increasing fuel economy.
The additional power is more noticeable in the midrange RPMs, which greatly improves driveability and towing performance. Transmission downshifting is greatly reduced, especially while passing or towing. The Juice also regulates power delivery and timing based on engine temperature. This means that while the engine temperature is below 130 degrees Fahrenheit, no additional fueling or timing is delivered. Once it reaches 130 degrees, the module begins modifying timing and delivering fuel at 50 percent of the calculated additional fuel, and the percentage increases as the engine temperature increases, until at full engine temperature the Juice delivers 100 percent of the calculated additional fuel. The Juice communicates along the engine's CAN-bus data stream, from which it receives vital engine, transmission, and fuel system information. This enables the Juice to provide smooth and precise power curves that are truly custom, rather than just an offset from stock. The Juice also monitors transmission slippage when the torque converter clutch is engaged and while it is being engaged. The power level is decreased if any slippage is detected. This prevents damage from being caused to the transmission, and also prevents the power train from erroneously generating fault codes and entering "limp mode." Unlike other products on the market, the Juice allows for moving power to be put to the ground under all conditions without transmission slippage. The Edge Juice is a completely weatherproof module that easily installs underneath the hood. The Juice module is a completely weatherproof module that installs under the hood. Using factory-style connections, in just 30 minutes you can add up to six levels of adjustable power ranging from 30 to 90 horsepower and increase torque up to 225 foot pounds. The Juice greatly improves responsiveness and driveability, while at the same time increasing fuel economy. The Turbo Timer is the latest in a long list of Edge safeguards. This feature prolongs turbo life by allowing the truck to run after shut-off for a predetermined time or until a specific EGT is reached. When used in conjunction with the Attitude monitor, you can control the six power levels on the fly from inside the cab of your truck. The Attitude displays all the information a set of gauges would and automatically monitors EGT and de-fuels the engine to prevent excessive EGTs. Imagine one simple 30-40 minute installation and you get incredible power gains, an increase in mileage, and the equivalent of a complete set of gauges! The following power gains are representative of an actual test vehicle. These gains were measured on a SuperFlow Dyno at an altitude of 4400 ft above sea level, and represent power delivered to the rear wheels of the test truck.
