What our customers are saying:

The web search for the right hitch was easy and effective, including links to accessory products. The chance to see the installation instructions via the .pdf file sold me on a do-it-myself installation. Prices were best on the web and the customer service people knew their stuff and were more than patient. Product quality (Hidden Hitch)is excellent.

Best 2014 Toyota Sienna Hitch Options

Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna we'll be taking a look at the best four hitch options available, starting with the CURT class three trailer hitch receiver, part number C13105; the Hidden Hitch class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 87586; the Draw-Tite class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 75696; and the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch receiver, part number 36513. Now the biggest difference between your class three trailer hitch receivers and your class two is going to be the accessories that you're going to be able to carry. You're going to be able to carry a lot more accessories with your 2" by 2" receiver tube than you will with your 1-1/4" by 1-1/4". Now as you can see, we're going to have three class three trailer hitch receivers up here on the top, followed by the class two trailer hitch receiver down here on the bottom. Now the three class three trailer hitch receivers are going to be pretty similar because they have the 2" round tube, the flange gussets for your chain tie downs. The only exception is going to be that the CURT is going to have a little bit more of a bend to it rather than your Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch, where they're going to be more straight and angled back. The CURT is going to go more across the bottom, and they curve in at the ends right behind the tires. Now the CURT is also going to have that extra gusset on top for strength, whereas the Hidden Hitch and the Draw-Tite are just going to have that bottom gusset here for your chain tie downs.

Toyota Sienna Trailer Hitch Questions and Answers

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE
  • For your 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE I recommend Curt trailer hitch # C13105. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver. If you plan on doing some towing with the hitch the recommended ball mount is # C45067. It has a 2-1/2 inch rise and 3-3/4 inch drop. For a 2 inch ball I recommend # 40038. For a 2-5/16 inch ball I recommend # C40007. And for a hitch pin I recommend the classic # PC3. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level,...

However, one of the three 2-inch Class III hitches offered for the 2007 Sienna, Curt # C13105, does happen to fit both 2007 and 2015 model years. The Draw-Tite hitches for the two model years are not the same fit. The linked page will show you all Class III hitches available for your 2015 Sienna. This and the Hidden Hitch will provide 12 inches of ground clearance from the top of the hitch opening to the ground whereas the Curt would provide 10-1/2 inches. As long as you stay under the weight capacity of the hitch and the tongue weight rating of your vehicle you should be just fine using your...

For that the Curt part # C13105 is our most popular option that would work well. I attached an install video for you to check out as well. You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # C56261. • Recommended Equipment Needed for Towing 3200lb Boat With a 2014 Toyota Sienna
  • As a first step, I'd recommend confirming the weight of the boat and the trailer, as well as the fully loaded and ready to tow trailer tongue weight (see linked article.) Your Sienna is capable of towing 3500lbs, so you'll want to be sure the combined weight of the boat and trailer doesn't exceed that amount. The Curt Class III hitch you looked at, part # C13105 would be an excellent choice. Any time the weight of the trailer is greater than half the weight of the vehicle, using...

  • In order to add a 7-Way trailer connector on your 2013 Toyota Sienna you will first need to install a 4-Way using # 118498. This system plugs into the vehicle tail light wiring and requires a direct connection to the vehicle battery to both power the trailer lights and protect the vehicle wiring. With the 4-Way installed you would then need to install a 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. This will provide a 7-Way and the wiring and accessories needed to hardwire in your Tekonsha P2...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • The Hidden Hitch part number 70639 that you referenced is a discontinued hitch that was designed to fit 2004-2006 Toyota Siennas so I cannot recommend it for your 2013 Sienna. For a Hidden Hitch that is confirmed to fit your vehicle you would want the part # 87698. Or, you could use the Curt Hitch part # C13105 that you referenced. For trailer wiring I would recommend the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118498. For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the...

  • We have installed some of our trailer hitches on 2013 Toyota Siennas, and we check the clearance measurements when we do installations so that customers can find a suitable hitch for their need. unfortunately, The height of the Sienna does have a lower frame and you may see less ground clearance than with other vehicles. One of the hitches we offer is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36513. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. Another is the Curt Hitch,...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch with the Highest Clearance for a 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • The smaller Class II hitches like # 36513 will give you a little more clearance vs. Class III hitches. The Class II will have lower tongue weight and gross trailer weight capacities. A bike rack with a rise in the shank will provide more ground clearance. When we have installed trailer hitch # 36513 on Toyota Sienna vans the same generation as yours we measured approximately 11 inches from level ground to the top of the receiver opening. To the bottom of the receiver that would be approximately...

  • Differences Between Class II and III Hitches for 2012 Toyota Sienna

The Class II hitches have the same towing capacity, but a lower tongue weight capacity, at 300 lbs. We usually recommend going with the Class III if the choice is available.
