  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch 13105 Fit a 2014 Toyota Sienna with All-Wheel Drive
  • Yes, the Curt trailer hitch # C13105 will fit your AWD 2014 Toyota Sienna! If you plan on doing some towing with this hitch I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For trailer wiring I recommend Tow Ready wiring harness, # 118498. This harness plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring and connects to the vehicle battery to power the trailer lights. This helps isolate and protect...

  • Choosing Between Thule, Yakima and Softride Hitch-Mount Bike Racks for 2014 Toyota Sienna
  • When we installed Curt Class III hitch # C13105 on the 2014 Toyota Sienna we found that the hitch pin hole was 4-1/2-inches from the rear-most part of the bumper. This means you'll want to choose a bike rack that offers at least 5-inches of clearance from the hitch pin hole to ensure that you have no interference between the rack and the Sienna. The Thule Vertex Swing # TH9031XT and the Yakima Swing Daddy # Y02464 both offer the best vehicle access since they both swing completely out...

  • Recommended Equipment Needed for Towing 3200lb Boat With a 2014 Toyota Sienna
  • As a first step, I'd recommend confirming the weight of the boat and the trailer, as well as the fully loaded and ready to tow trailer tongue weight (see linked article.) Your Sienna is capable of towing 3500lbs, so you'll want to be sure the combined weight of the boat and trailer doesn't exceed that amount. The Curt Class III hitch you looked at, part # C13105 would be an excellent choice. Any time the weight of the trailer is greater than half the weight of the vehicle, using...

  • Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2013 Toyota Sienna with Factory Tow Package
  • In order to add a 7-Way trailer connector on your 2013 Toyota Sienna you will first need to install a 4-Way using # 118498. This system plugs into the vehicle tail light wiring and requires a direct connection to the vehicle battery to both power the trailer lights and protect the vehicle wiring. With the 4-Way installed you would then need to install a 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. This will provide a 7-Way and the wiring and accessories needed to hardwire in your Tekonsha P2...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch with the Highest Clearance for a 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • The smaller Class II hitches like # 36513 will give you a little more clearance vs. Class III hitches. The Class II will have lower tongue weight and gross trailer weight capacities. A bike rack with a rise in the shank will provide more ground clearance. When we have installed trailer hitch # 36513 on Toyota Sienna vans the same generation as yours we measured approximately 11 inches from level ground to the top of the receiver opening. To the bottom of the receiver that would be approximately...

  • Hitch Recommendation With The Most Ground Clearance For 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • We have installed some of our trailer hitches on 2013 Toyota Siennas, and we check the clearance measurements when we do installations so that customers can find a suitable hitch for their need. unfortunately, The height of the Sienna does have a lower frame and you may see less ground clearance than with other vehicles. One of the hitches we offer is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36513. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. Another is the Curt Hitch,...

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • The Hidden Hitch part number 70639 that you referenced is a discontinued hitch that was designed to fit 2004-2006 Toyota Siennas so I cannot recommend it for your 2013 Sienna. For a Hidden Hitch that is confirmed to fit your vehicle you would want the part # 87698. Or, you could use the Curt Hitch part # C13105 that you referenced. For trailer wiring I would recommend the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118498. For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the...

  • Trailer Hitch with Best Ground Clearance for a 2013 Toyota Sienna
  • For max ground clearance a 1-1/4 inch hitch will be the best option since the smaller hitch opening means better ground clearance. On a vehicle like yours there really isn't an option that is going to have great ground clearance, but we have found that the Curt part # C12065 would give you the best ground clearance at 11-3/4 inches from the top of the hitch opening to the ground. This is about 3/4 inches better than the Draw Tite. The recommended ball mount is part # C45016. For a...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Toyota Sienna for Trailer Towing and Bike Rack
  • Since you want to tow a trailer and use the hitch for bikes, I recommend a Class III trailer hitch for your 2012 Toyota Sienna. A Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver is going to afford you more options for accessories than a smaller hitch. The receiver on any of the available trailer hitches will be directly below the rear bumper on the van, including the Curt hitch, # C13105, that you have referenced. Because the vehicle sits so low to the ground, ground clearance can be...

  • You will need to use the spacers so that the Curt Hitch part # C13135 that you referenced will sit level when installed on your 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. As long as the carriage bolts are fully inserted through the square spacers used in the frame rails of your vehicle and you have the proper torque on all of the install hardware you would be fine. • Differences Between Class II and III Hitches for 2012 Toyota Sienna
  • The primary differences between the 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch receiver are the size and the capacity. The Class III hitches for your Sienna have a 3500 lb towing/ 350 lb tongue weight capacity. The Class II hitches have the same towing capacity, but a lower tongue weight capacity, at 300 lbs. We usually recommend going with the Class III if the choice is available. The 2 inch receiver opening used by the Class III hitch is more common, and therefore there is a better selection of hitch...
