Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Toyota Camry

Today on our 2008 Toyota Camry well be installing the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System using part numbers THLB50, TH480 and THKIT1438. Now weve already gone ahead and preassembled our roof rack system according to the instructions found within the fit kit so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well start by placing our front crossbar on top of the roof, well then measure from the windshield edge back on our roof 9 inches. This will be the location of the leading edge of the front crossbar feet. With our crossbar in place well open the door as the clamp will clamp to the inside of the door opening. We can then tighten down the two feet for the front crossbar using the included torque tool found within each foot.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today we have a 2012 Toyota Camry and we are going to test fitting a Yakima roof rack system. We are going to be using Q clips part number y00605 as we as Q clips part number y00716. Well also be using the 48 inch crossbars part number y00408 and the Yakima roof tower part number y00124. We already have our roof rack assembled according to the instructions and now we are ready to fit it up on top of our vehicle. Well take the front crossbar and lay it on top of the roof. To position the front bar we need to measure eight inches from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the Q towers.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today we have a 2012 Toyota Camry, and we'll be test-fitting the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system. We'll be using part number tharb53 for our load bars, part number th480r for our feet and feet kit part number thkit1438.This is the same install as you would do on a 2011 Toyota Camry however the bar measurements are a little bit shorter. For our front bar, we need to set our sliders at number 36 and our rear bar we need to set our sliders at number 35 1/2. We've already put the roof rack together and now we're ready to mount it up on the vehicle. The first thing we need to do is open the front door on both the passenger and the driver's side. Well take our front bar assembly, place it up on top of the roof and then we'll need to position it properly.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Toyota Camry

Alright on this 2010 Toyota Camry we're going to do a test fit of the Yakima Q Tower system with part numbers Y00124 Q5 and Q35. We'll start off with our crossbars already assembled according to the instructions and open the front doors. Now I can place the front crossbar on top of the vehicle. To place it properly, we will measure from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the tower. Now let's go by the manufacturer's instructions, in this case the measurement will be 9 inches. With the from bar in place we can move on to the rear.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Toyota Camry

Today, on this 2010 Toyota Camry, we are going to do a test fit of a Thule Traverse roof rack. Well be using Thule Traverse foot pack and a 50-inch Thule square low bars. We have our low bars pre-assembled according to the instructions, so Ill mount them up onto the vehicle and test them out. Well start off with the doors open and place the front low bar onto the roof. To properly position the bar, well measure from the trim edge of the wind shield to the leading edge of the foot pack. Always go by the instructions, in this case we will use the measurement of 9 inches.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Toyota Camry

Today, on this 2010 Toyota Camry, well be doing a test fit of a Thule Aeroblade roof rack with the diverse foot packs. Well start off with the bars already assembled and well place them on top of the vehicle. To position the bars properly well measure from the edge of the wind shield to the leading edge of the foot pack. Always go by the instructions, however this measurement will be 9 inches. To position our rear bar, we are going to measure from the center of the front bar to the center of our rear bar. This measurement will be 26 and inches.



Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Toyota Camry

Today on our 2011 Toyota Camry well be test fitting the Yakima Q Tower roof rack, using part numbers Y00124, Y00409, Y00605 times two, Y00635 times two. With our roof rack already preassembled were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well start by opening up the doors to allow access to the door openings. With the door open were ready to go ahead and set the bar on top of the vehicle. Well start with the front bar. In orde to fit the front bar in its proper location well need to take a measurement.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Toyota Camry

Today in our 2011 Toyota Camry well be test fitting the Thule aero blade traverse roof-rack part numbers TH480R and THARB53. Well be using the 53-inch crossbars with our roof-rack already preassembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it into the vehicle. Well begin by placing the front bar on top of the roof in order to get our proper location. Well need to do a measurement. The front crossbar will be nine inches from the top of the windshield. So well measure from the top of the windshield nine inches back on the roof in that will be where the leading edge of the front crossbar tower will set.



Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Toyota Camry

Today on this 2010 Toyota Camry we're going to install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack. Product number DA118 for the crossbars and DK114 for the clamp kit. For our quick test fit we went ahead and assembled the crossbars as described in the instructions and we'll just place them on the vehicle and see how it looks. We'll start off with the front crossbar. Let's lay it on the roof and we'll move it into its final position. To place the front rail we're going to measure from the center of the rail over to the center of the door jamb.

Thule Echelon Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Toyota Camry

Today, on our 2008 Toyota Camry, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Eschelon roof-mounted bike carrier, part number TH518. Now, our Camry's already equipped with the Thule traverse roof rack system, so were ready to load our Eschelon. We'll begin by placing the bike rack on top of our crossbars in a location suitable for us. We'll make sure that the head of the bike rack is directly over the front cross bar where we can then take the rear mount of the Eschelon and make sure if it's over the rear crossbar. We'll then simply run the clamp underneath the crossbar and loosely fasten the wing nut to the bolt. We'll then move forward to the head of the bike rack.



SportRack Nomad Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Toyota Camry

Today, on our 2008 Toyota Camry, we'll be installing the SportRack Nomad framed mount bike carrier, part number ABR611. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place our bike rack on top of our cross bars. We'll make sure that the head of the bike rack is directly over our front cross bar where we can now take our back cross bar and ensure that it's over the rear cross bar. To move it, you'll simply remove the bolts and use any of the pre-existing holes drilled in the bike rack to adjust the rear mount. We'll then go ahead and loosely install out rear mount over the rear crossbar. We'll move back to the front where we use the 2 U bolts and wing nuts to secure the head of the bike rack to the front crossbar.



Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, were going to be test fitting the Yakima Frontloader Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02103. To fit our bike carrier onto our roof rack, were going to lay it on top of our crossbars. Well fit the front head over our front bar and use the hand nut to tighten it down. Then in the rear, were going to fit the clamp around our crossbar and tighten it down with the wing nut. Once weve done that, were ready to load our bike. Well take the front wheel hoop and push it open.



Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, were going to be test fitting the Yakima Fork Lift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02098. To mount our bike carrier up on the roof, first well remove the front skewer and open up the front clamp as well as the rear clamp. Well position the bike rack on top of our crossbars, close the clamps, and tighten them down with the wing nuts. Once weve done that, we can reinstall the skewer upfront and undo our wheel strap in the back. Well lift our bike up and set the rear wheel in the tray on the bike rack. Well then set our front fork into the skewer and secure it using the skewer.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today we have 2012 Toyota Camry and well be testing the Thule Domestique Fork Mount Bike Carrier part number TH513. Weve already got our bike carrier assembled according to the instructions and now were ready to fit it on top of our roof rack. Well place the rack up on top of the bars. Well fit the front clam around our front bar and the rear clamp around the rear and well tighten them down with the included Allen keys. Once weve done that, we can replace the skewer into the head of the bike rack and well be ready to load our bike. Well undo the rear wheel strap and fit the rear wheel of our bike into the tray.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today, we have with us a 2012 Toyota Camry and we're going to be test-fitting the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike rack, part number rky1014. We've already got our bike carrier assembled and we're ready to mount it up on the roof. To secure the bike carrier to our roof rack, we're going to take the two rubber-coated straps in the front, free them around the front load bar, re-attach them to the head of the bike rack and tighten them down with the included Allen wrench. We'll reinstall the head cover up at the front. Then at the rear of the bike rack, we'll fit the clamp around our rear bar and we'll tighten it down using the wing knots on the bike rack.Then we're ready to load our bike. We'll fit the rear wheel of the bike into the tray and set the front fork down on our skewer.



RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today, we have with us a 2012 Toyota Camry and we're going to be test-fitting the Rockymounts Pitchfork roof-mounted bike carrier, part number rky0438.To mount the bike rack to our vehicle, the first thing we need to do is remove the skewer and the cover off the head of the bike rack. We'll fit the front clamp around the front crossbar and use the included Allen wrench to tighten it around our front bar. Then we'll move to the rear, fit the clamp around the rear bar and use the wing knot to tighten down the clamp and the rear.At this point we can re-install our skewer and our cover on the head of our bike rack. We'll set the rear wheel of the bike into place on the tray and drop the front fork of the bike into the skewer. We'll secure the bike in the skewer and move back to secure the rear wheel with the strap. Once we've done that, our bikes loaded and we're ready to go.



RockyMounts Euro PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Today, we'll be test-fitting the Rockymounts Euro Pitchfork roof-mounted bike rack on our 2012 Toyota Camry. To fit the bike rack to our roof rack, first we'll need to remove the rubber stripping from the front load bar. This can either be left out or if you want to keep wind noise down, you can trim it to fit around the bike rack. Next, we'll slide the block on the underside of the head of the bike rack into our track on the front bar. Well then use the included Allen key to tighten both of the Allen bolts down to the block. We can re-install our head cover and then we can move back to the rear of the vehicle.

With our vehicle equipped with the Akima Roof Rack and our basket already pre-assembled, we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by placing the basket on top of the crossbars. We'll center it from left to right with the vehicle. From that point, we can tighten it down using the included hardware. With the wind nuts tight, our cargo carrier is secured and we're ready to go ahead and load it up.

To fit the carrier to our roof rack all we need to do is take the first half, set it on top of our front load bar and wrap the Speed-Link straps around the bar. We'll use the hand knobs to tighten down the straps. Once we have the front half on, we can move to the rear bar and repeat the same procedure. With that, our ski carrier is secured to our roof rack and we're ready to load up. We'll push the gray buttons on the end to open the jaws of the carrier.
