Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Subaru Legacy
Today on our 2008 Subaru Legacy, well be test fitting the Yakima Q-Towers Roof Rack System. Well be using part numbers Y00408, Y00678 x2, and Y00124. Now weve already pre-assembled our roof rack system according to the fit guide found within the Q clips for the Yakima Q-Towers, so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Now with our doors open, we can place the front crossbar on top of the vehicle. We need to measure from the windshield back 6 inches. This will be the location of the leading edge of our crossbar feet.
Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Subaru Legacy
Today, were working with a 2008 Subaru Legacy GT, and well be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. Well be using a 53-inch Aeroblade Load Bars, part number THARB53; the Rapid Traverse Foot Packs, part number TH480R; as well as the Fit Kit for our vehicle, which is part number THKIT1340. Now weve already got our load bars assembled according to the instructions and now were ready to mount them up on top of our vehicle. Well take the front load bar and place it on top of the roof after weve opened the passenger and driver side front doors. To position the front bar properly, well measure 7-7/8 inches back from the edge of the windshields seal to the leading edge of the traverse foot on either side. Once weve done that, well make sure that the clamps on our Fit Kit fit our door properly, and then well tighten them down with the included Accu-Tite tools.
Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Subaru Legacy Review
Today on this 2011 Subaru Legacy we are going to show you how to install the square load bars roof rack system with the Traverse Towers and Fit Kit, part number THKIT1574. Our first measurement is from the edge of the windshield to the front of the foot pack, it will be 10-5/8 inches. It will be the same measurement on both sides. Once we have the load bar measured out, we can use the tool provided with the foot pack to tighten it down. Alright, today on this 2011 Subaru Legacy we are going to show you how the Rhino Rack Heavy Duty Roof Rack System looks likes on a vehicle. Let us start by opening the front car doors. We will take our first crossbar, put it into place on the roof line. Alright, we will measure out from the center of the door jam to the center of the cross bar. That will be 9 and 27/32 of an inch. RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2008 Subaru Legacy
Today, were working with a 2008 Subaru Legacy GT and well be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof-Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. To mount our carrier on our vehicle, well lay it up on top of our load bars. Well fit the front straps around our front load bar and re-secure them to the head. Then well tighten them down using an Allen Key. At the rear of the carrier, well fit the clamp around our rear load bar and tighten it down with the included wing nuts. With that done, were ready to load up a bike.
Yakima RocketBox Cargo Box Review - 2011 Subaru Legacy
Today on this 2011 Subaru Legacy we are going to install the Yakima Rocket Box part number Y07148. Because of the length of this box, it is good to get an extra set of hands to help you install. With this box, it is personal preference whether you want it lined up in the center of the vehicle or further to the passenger side to make it accessible. The built-in clamps are set up to grab your load bars. Once you got the clamps set up in the middle of the bar, you can go ahead and open the box and tighten them down. 0:26

Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2008 Subaru Legacy
Today on our 2008 Subaru Legacy GT, were going to be test fitting the Thule Flattop Ski and Snow Board Carrier, part number TH92725. To mount the carrier to our roof rack, well take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of our load bar. Well feed the speed link straps around our bar back into the heads and tighten them down with the gray hand knobs. Once we have the front half secured, we can grab the second half and set it up on top of our rear bar. We do want to make sure that the second half lines up nicely with our front half. Again, well feed the straps around and tighten the hand knobs down just like we did with the front.
Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2008 Subaru Legacy
Today on our 2008 Subaru Legacy GT, well be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddle Board Carrier, part number TH810. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, well take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of the front load bar. Well run the speed link straps around the load bar, fit them back into the head, and tighten them down using the gray hand knob. Once weve done that, we can move back to the second half of the carrier. We do want to make sure that the second half lines up nicely with the front half. Again, well fit the speed link straps around our load bar and back into the head, tightening them down the same way we did the first.
