  • What Vehicles Does the Hidden Hitch 60256 Fit
  • The Hidden Hitch part # 60256 that you referenced only fits 2010-2013 Kia Souls. Since hitch install hardware is considered one time use it would be a good idea to sell this hitch with new hardware if you can. To get new hardware you would need part # RHK. On it's product page you would need to enter the part number and select the hitch manufacturer.

  • Can 2011 Kia Soul with Draw-Tite Class I Hitch # 24839 Tow a 5 x 8-Foot Trailer
  • The Draw-Tite hitch you referenced, part # 24839, is indeed a correct fit for your 2011 Kia Soul. This light-duty Class I hitch has a 1-1/4-inch receiver opening. I have linked an installation video for this hitch on your same model year Soul. For some vehicles hitches are available to enable use of accessory items such as bike racks and cargo baskets, but the availability of a hitch for any given vehicle does not necessarily mean that vehicle is suitable for towing a trailer. According...

  • Compatibility of Curt Class I Receiver Part # 11110 with 2011 KIA Soul
  • All hitches we offer for your 2011 Soul, the Curt # C11110, the Draw-Tite # 24839 or the Hidden Hitch # 60256 are compatible with all models of the vehicle. All three hitches are pretty much identical in appearance, weight capacity and installation procedure. If you're only needing the hitch as an attachment point for a bike rack or cargo carrier, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite # 24839. If you'll be doing some light duty towing as well, go with the Hidden Hitch # 60256 as it includes the ball...

  • Ball Mount Recommendation for a Draw Tite Hitch for a 2011 Kia Soul
  • The recommended ball mount to use with the Draw Tite Hitch part # 24839 that you referenced is the part # 3593. With a Class I hitch like this it is important to only use the recommended ball mount. For a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you would want part # 19256 or for a 2 inch hitch ball part # 19258. For trailer wiring you would want the part # 118637.

  • What Is The Stabilizing Strap That Is Needed For A Curt Class I Hitch On A 2010 Kia Soul
  • The Curt Bike Rack Strap, # 18050, will attach to the bike rack and the other end to the vehicles trunk lip or window. It gives added support and stability to the bike rack and keeps the movement of the bike rack to a minimum, which puts less stress on the hitch. The manufacturer (Curt) requires the use of the stabilizing strap on all of their Class I hitches. Because the Class I hitches have a lower tongue weight capacity they do not want any added strain to be put on that hitch. I...

  • Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2010 Kia Soul
  • All of the trailer hitches for a 2010 Kia Soul will be Class I trailer hitches so you will need a Class I bike rack. Also, a Class I hitch is only capable of supporting up to 2 bikes, but no more. Since you will just be carrying a bike, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24839, would be a good choice since it is just the hitch and does not include a ball mount, pin, or clip. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. For a compatible bike rack, I recommend the Swagman...

  • The hitches that are available for your 2010 Kia Soul are all Class I 1-1/4 inch hitches with a 200-lb tongue weight capacity and a 2,000-lb towing weight capacity. You will want to check your owners manual or with the Kia dealer for the towing capacity of your Kia Soul. You will want your aluminum boat and trailer, loaded with your cargo, to...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Adapter to Use a Yakima 2 Bike Rack With a 2010 Kia Soul
  • There are adapters available like part # HTAD to convert a 1-1/4 inch hitch opening to a 2 inch opening. However, using any adapter will cut your hitch capacity in half, so you will need to ensure that the weight of the bike rack, bikes, and any items in your rear cargo area will not exceed 100 pounds total. The hitches available for your 2010 Kia Soul are class I, with a 200 pound tongue weight rating. When you add the adapter into the equation your hitch capacity would drop to 100...

  • Can I Purchase the Curt Class I HItch 11110 Without the Ballmount and Pin and Clip
  • The ballmount, pin and clip are packaged with the hitch and the installation hardware and we cannot separate them. Curt includes them, because on Class I and II hitches, only certain ball mounts should be used. If you do not want a hitch with the draw bar and pin and clip, I would suggest Draw-Tite part # 24839. Yes, you can use a load carrier or a cargo carrier on either of these hitches, so long as the cargo carrier is designed for use with 1-1/4 inch Class I hitches. The tongue...
