Transmission Cooler Installation - 2008 Jeep Liberty

Today, on this 2008 Jeep Liberty were going to install part number D13053 from Derale, their transmission cooler. Our first step to installing it is we have to remove the grill so theres more working room to install the cooler. Well remove a variety of fasteners, and then we can go ahead and remove the grill. Well go ahead and add the hoses to our transmission cooler now. Well use a little bit of transmission fluid to lubricate the bar fitting as we install our lines. Now transmission cooler is going to sit a little bit farther away from our connection than normal, so were actually going to add a second length of hose to it, now the part number HH41102.

  • Do I Need Bigger Trany Cooler for Towing My 2010 Jeep Liberty on a Trailer
  • As far as transmission coolers go, you cannot cool transmission fluid too much, so installing the largest cooler that space will allow is perfectly fine and will benefit your transmission the most. This cooler measures 11 inches wide x 11-3/8 inches tall x 1-1/4 inches deep, so you will need to make sure there is room in
