Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Hyundai Accent
Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack System using part numbers Y00699, Y00124, and Y00408. To begin our test fit. We'll simply open all four doors on our vehicle. We can then set the front crossbar on top of the roof. In order to find the location for our front crossbar, we will need to do a measurement. We'll measure from the top of the windshield back on our roof, 6 inches.
Yakima FrontLoader Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent
Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent well be test fitting the Yakima frontloader wheel mount bike carrier, part number Y02103. To begin our test fit well place the head of the bike rack over the top of the front crossbar. We can then move the rear mount directly over the rear crossbar and bring the clamp around underneath and loosely secure it to the rear crossbar. Well then move back to the head of the bike rack, and using the black knob on the front of the bike rack well tighten it down. That will secure the head. We can then move back to the rear mount where well secure it with the wing nut, and now our bike rack is ready for our bike.
RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent
Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts Pitchfork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part #RKY0438. And our vehicle's equipped with a Yakima Roof Rack system, so we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll place the head of the bike rack directly over the front crossbar. We can then use the clamp to go under the crossbar and using the included Allen wrench and bolts will tighten it down loosely at first. We'll then move to the rear mount while we'll put it directly over the rear crossbar and bring the clamp underneath then secure using the wing nuts. With our rear mount secure, we'll move back to the front crossbar and tighten down the front head of our bike rack with our Allen wrench.
