Whispbar Rail Bar Roof Rack Review - 2007 Honda Pilot
Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we'll be test fitting the Whispbar rail bar roof rack for raised factory side rails, part number WB-S46. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front cross bar on the front part of our side rails. Once we have this in position, we need to make sure that the bar is lined up on each side. To do this, I found a fixed point on the side rail and made sure that I put each foot pack on that fixed point on both sides. Once we have the bar in the correct position, with the feet around our side rails, we can then go ahead and use the included Allen key to tighten down each foot. Once we have the cross bar secured to our side rail, we can then go ahead and place the cover back on and lock it into position.
Yakima RailGrab Roof Rack Installation - 2007 Honda Pilot
Speaker: Today we have a 2007 Honda Pilot and were going to be test fitting a Yakima Roof Rack system. Well be using the rail grid towers for raised side rails part number y00138 as well as Yakimas 58 inch round cross bars part number y00409. We already have our cross bar assemblies put together according to the instructions and now were ready to fit them up on top of our vehicle. The first thing that were going to do is take the front bar and set it up on top of our side rails. Before we can tighten the bar down we need to make sure that the bar is overhanging evenly from left to right. We want to make sure that its running perpendicular to our factory raised side rails and to do this well measure from a fixed point on our side rail to the leading edge of the rail grab towers on either side of the vehicle.

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today we have with us a 2011 Honda Pilot, and we are going to be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack system using the AeroBlade Load Bars and the Rapid Crossroad feet. We have the 53 AeroBlades with us, but with this vehicle you could step up and use the full 60 AeroBlades. We already have our crossbar assemblies put together so we are ready to mount them on top of our vehicle. We will start with the front crossbar first. Well set it up in place and we will double check to make sure the overhang is even on both sides of the vehicle. We also need to make sure that the crossbar runs perpendicular to our factory raised side rails, and to do this we will find a fixed point on our side rails on either side, and measure to the end of the Rapid Crossroad feet to make sure that the measurement is the same on both sides.
Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today we are going to install a Thule roof rack on a 2011 Honda Pilot. Our Honda Pilot already has factory installed side rails, so we are going to use the Thule Crossroad system, part number TH450. We are also going to need Thules 58 inch square load bars. That is part number THLB58. The Crossroad pack comes with four Crossroad feet, the end caps with the built in Allen key and four smaller end caps that will go on the end of our bars. The Crossroad feet are designed to quickly and easily attach to the factory side rails on your vehicle. The band is actually a steel band coated in rubber. This gives it plenty of strength but the rubber also protects your factory side rails. It is going to loop around your side rail and connect back to the foot. Then we will use the end cap with the built in Allen head wrench to tighten down this bolt. It will tighten the whole system down to your vehicle, as well as tighten down the crossbars and the foot. 0:57
Yakima RailGrab Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Honda Pilot
Today on this 2011 Honda Pilot we will be installing a Yakima roof rack using the Yakima RailGrab Towers part number Y00138 and the Yakima 58 inch cross bars part number Y00409. There are three basic components to the rail grab kit. The first is the RailGrab tower itself, the second is the additional set of claws, and the third is the end caps for the load bars. You can also purchase separately the Yakima SKS lock core system. The lock cores will replace this knock-out and will provide a way for you to lock the door closed to prevent someone your rack from the vehicle. Yakima includes two different sets of claws to adapt to a different size in shaped factory rails. 00:43
