  • Will the Yakima MegaWarrior Cargo Basket # Y07080 Fit a 2009 GMC Acadia and is Extra Hardware Needed

  • Roof Rack for a 2007 GMC Acadia with Factory Side Rails
  • Thule has a similar product like the Yakima RailGrabs. They have the Crossroads, # TH450 for square bars or # TH450R for AeroBlade bars. However, they are different because they have a strap system that fits around a bar so they will only fit raised side rails. You will have to make sure that your crossbars can reach all the way across the roof if you do have raised side rails. If you do not then I do recommend going with the Yakima system using the RailGrabs, # Y00138, and crossbars...

  • Will SportRack Roof Cargo Box # SR7095 Fit a 2009 GMC Acadia with Facotry Cross Bars
  • The SportRack Roof Cargo Carrier, # SR7095, is a universal fit item designed to fit on cross bars that are 4 inches or less thick. • Roof Mounted Cargo Bag Recommendation for a 2008 GMC Acadia with Side Rails Running Front to Back
  • You could attach the Thule cargo bag, # TH868 to the side rails only but it is not recommended for this bag. The reason is because during starts and stops, the bag can move forward and backwards and it can damage the roof of the vehicle. What I recommend is a bag that can be used with or without any type of roof rack. Take a look at the Yakima FarOut Pro, # Y07173. This bag can be attached to the roof safely even without crossbars or rails. Make sure that the bottom of the bag and the...

First, if you are able to move the crossbars on the vehicle, move the front crossbar as far forward as you can. Then measure from the center of the front bar straight back to the seam between the top of he hatch and the roof. If that measurement is 52 inches or more...

  • Will the Thule Interstate Cargo Bag # TH869 Work with Raised Rails on a 2009 GMC Acadia
  • Cross bars are recommended when installing Thule Interstate Expandable Roof Rack Cargo Bag, item # TH869. The cross bars keep the bag from sliding forward and back on the vehicle roof during acceleration and braking and protect the vehicle roof from damage by keeping the bag stationary when installed. Make sure to clean the roof before installing the bag to keep dirt, between the bag and roof, to a minimum so the roof does not get scratched. Cross bars for your 2009 GMC Acadia are the...

  • How to Determine if Thule Cargo Box Will Fit a 2015 GMC Arcadia Denali without Hatch Interference
  • Yes, there is a measurement you can take to determine which boxes will fit without interference with the hatch or the antenna on your 2015 GMC Acadia Denali. First, if the crossbars that run side to side on the roof can be moved, move the front bar as far forward as it will go. Then measure from the center of that front bar straight back to the nearest potential obstruction. Compare your measurement to the front clearance requirements listed in the chart I have linked.
