  • There are specific suspension enhancement products made for the 2002 Ford F-53 chassis. I have included a link to them for you. For a Timbren system on the rear axle, if you have an F-53 chassis with front leaf springs, use # TFRF53A. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. • Suspension Enhancement for a Motor Home Built on a 2011 Ford F-53 Chassis
  • It sounds like you may want to first have the suspension components inspected because any enhancement product will need to be installed on a vehicle with good working suspension. For the front, I recommend going with a Firestone air bag system, # F2070, Having air bags will allow you to level the vehicle as needed. For the rear, the air bag kit is # F2170. This will fit as long as the distance from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire is at least 8 inches. Using air bag

The air bag will mount forward of the rear axle like your Firestone air bags and uses a similar lower bracket that sits on the leaf spring forward of the axle. Based on the installation instructions, the upper mounting holes for the upper bracket must be drilled using the bracket as a template. Since you already have the upp

  • Suspension Enhancement to Reduce Sag and Roll on a 2000 Hurricane Motorhome Ford F53 Chassis
  • First, if your RV is sagging because the suspension is worn, you will need to have the suspension fixed before adding springs. Suspension enhancement systems are designed to be installed on a vehicle with suspension that is in good working order. Once you are sure your suspension is in good working order I recommend using a system with a higher capacity. For a higher capacity system, 16K to 22K, use # SSR-181. This system will reduce sag and help reduce side to side roll. Using a steering

  • Is there a 12-Volt Accessory Circuit on the 7-way of a 2011 Ford F53 RV
  • Yes, there is a 12 volt power source on the 7-way that is on your 2011 Ford F-53 RV. It will be on the 11:00 position of the connector as you look at the front of it. Check out the picture I attached that has a picture with all of the terminals of a 7-way labeled with their functions. You might want to test for voltage on this circuit with a Circuit Tester # 3808 as well just to be sure. I also attached an FAQ article on trailer wiring that you might find informative.
