UWS Toolbox Review - 2008 Ford F-350

Today on this 2008 Ford F350 were going to do a test fit of part number UWS07045. This is the UWS low profile truck bed toolbox. Few things to know about this toolbox it is a crossover style and it sits on top of the truck bed side rails. This also has a low profile design it gives a little more visibility out of the rear windshield. It also comes with a sliding tray to store small items. Plus it comes with J bolt installation hardware.

UWS ProGrade Crossover Toolbox Review - 2000 Ford F-350

Today were going to install part number UWS 07300. This is their Truck Bed Tool Box Extra Wide Crossover Style part of their Pro Series. To start off our install well go ahead and take the foam strips and attach them to the bottom side of the box. Well go ahead and clean out the bottom of the box with some rubbing alcohol and then attach the film strips. Well stay about 3/4-inch in from the edge of the box and well start from one end and work our way down. Now the strip is long enough so well go ahead and trim off our next strip to fill up the gap.

UWS Toolbox Review - 2006 Ford F-250

Today on our 2006 Ford F-250, we're going to be test fitting the UWS Truck Bed Tool Box, part number UWS01042. We'll lift the tool box place it into our bed, pick it up in over our wheel wells and set it in place against the head of the bed. This is a chest style tool box that's designed to sit ahead of our wheel wells. It's low profile so that it also provides room for those of you towing fifth wheel trailers. With this box, you have two options for mounting. You can either mount the back of the box to the head of our truck bed or you can go through the bottom of the box and through the floor over the bed.

If you could find the right kind of clamps you may be able to clamp it to the truck bed but you would still have to at least drill into the box, but not the truck. The ideal and safest way is to bolt the box into place.
