Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150, well be test fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System, using part numbers THLB58, TH480, and THKIT1521. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, well grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. To ensure we have this bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 10 1/8 of an inch from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point on our foot pack. Well do this measurement for both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other.Once we have it set, we can use the included tool to tighten down our clamp to secure it against our roof line. Well make our way back and forth, tightening a little at a time so we dont lose our position. Once we have it secured, we can then slide the tool under the foot pack and close the lid.Well open our rear doors and place the rear bar under the rear part of our roof.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we will be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system using part numbers THARB60, TH480R and THKIT1521. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions we will place our front bar onto the front part of our roof. To ensure we have this bar in the correct spot we need to measure 10 and 1/8th inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closet point of our foot pack. We will do this measurement for both sides of the vehicle to ensure that our feet are in-line with each other. Once we have it in place we can use the included tool to tighten down allen bolt which will tighten our clamp along the roof line of our truck. We will make our way back and forth, tightening a little at a time, making sure we don't lose our position.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System Part Numbers THARB60, TH4A0R and THKIT1521 with load bars feet and and fit kit assembled according to the instructions we'll begin our test fit by placing a front load bar on to the roof. We'll then need to measure from the front part of the glass to the first part of the foot. We'll measure 10 and 1/8 inch on to the passenger and drivers side of the vehicle to ensure the front load bar is perpendicular to the roof of our F150. Once we've established this position, we can use the included tensioning tool to tighten on the clamps to the roof line of our vehicle. You want to tighten down each side a little bit at a time so one foot back doesn't favor one side of the vehicle.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Ford F-150

Today were going to do a test fit of the Thule square loadbar roof-rack kit with traverse speed on our 2011 Ford F150. Weve got already a little bar in feet assemble so lets go ahead and put them on the vehicle. Lets start by opening up both front door and placing the loadbar on the vehicle. Place the loadbar properly we need a measure of 10 and 1/8 inches from where the edge of the windshield and meets the edge of the sheet-metal on top of the roof-rack. All right now, weve got a front loadbar measure out in place and we start turning it down. Well take up some of the slacks on the clamps and then well tighten it down with the included torque tool specifications.

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform we'll bring our clamps around the front bar. We'll then take out T-bolt and fit it through the slot on the clamp. We can secure it by tightening down our wingnut. We can then repeat this process for the other side of the front platform. Here at the rear we'll bring our bolts around the rear bar, place our clamp through the bolts, and secure it by tightening down the wingnuts.



Swagman Upright Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Rooftop Bike Rack, Part Number S64720. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Swagman Bike Rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U-bolt around the underside of the load bar, feeding it back up through the holes in the platform, and securing it by tightening down two wing nuts. Once we have that tight, we can repeat that process for the other side of the front platform. Here at the rear, we'll drop our U-bolt through the top of the bike rack, down through the holes, making sure it goes around the rear load bar. We'll then install the black metal bracket and secure it by tightening down the wing nuts. With the front and rear secure, we'll go ahead and make sure that our frame jaws are open and that our front and rear wheel straps are undone. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be testing fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64710. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Swagman Bike Rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U bolts around the underside of our load bar feeding them up through the platform and securing it by tightening down the wing nuts. We'll do this for both sides of the front platform. Withthe front secure, we'll move to the rear and drop our U bolt through the top of thebike rack through the holes. We want to make sure that the U bolt goes around the load bar and then we can place our clampthrough the bolts and then we can feed our bolts through the bracket securing it by tightening down the wing nuts. We'llgo ahead and undo the rear wheel strap and make sure the skewer at the front is loose. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack.



RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150 we'll be test fitting the Rocky Mounts Pitch Fork roof mounted bike rack, part number RKY0438. With a tully traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the pitch fork directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we'll remove the black plastic cover, and we'll also need to remove the skewer so that we can loosen up our allen bolts. With our allen bolts loose, we can bring our clamp around our front bar and secure it by re-tightening our allen bolts. We can then reinstall our skewer and replace our black plastic cover. Here at the rear, we'll bring our clamp around our rear bar, drop our bolt through the clamp, and secure it by tightening the wing nut. We'll go ahead undo the rear wheel strap and make sure our skewer at the front is loose. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack. We'll drop our front force down onto our skewer and we'll secure it first by tightening our skewer.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike rock, part number RKY1014. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof-rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the tierod directly onto our load bars. We'll rid plastic cover and fit the straps into the head of the carrier. We can then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt which will tighten our straps around our front bar. With that tight we can replace the black plastic cover and make sure our skewer is open for when we're ready to load our bike. Here at the rear we'll bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, drop the bolt back through and secure it by tightening down on the Allen bolts. With the front and rear secure we'll go ahead and undo the rear wheel strap. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack dropping our front forks down onto our skewer. We'll secure the bike first by tightening our skewer and then move to the rear and tighten with the wheel strap. With our bike all loaded up we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit for the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike rock, part number RKY1014 on our 2010 Ford F150. .

Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each load bar. Once we have it set the way we like, we can then open the passenger's side of the box and use the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with a two-board capacity, Part Number TH810. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of the carrier onto the front part of our roof rack. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel strap around the front bar, putting it back into the foot of the carrier, and using the small knob on the reverse side to tighten it down. Well move to the other side and repeat this process. We'll grab the second half of the carrier and place it onto the rear bar. We want to make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other for better hauling of our gear.
