From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is three inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 16-3/4 inches. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be 20-1/4 inches, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2-3/4 inches. First off well go ahead and remove the spare tire, it makes things a lot easier to see and install the hitch, although its not completely necessary. A quick note: You can lower the vehicle's spare tire to help make things easier, but we're not going to today. Next, we're going to show you the four attachment points that we're going to be using on the bumper brackets. We're going to show you everything on the driver's side and it's the exact same over on the passenger's side. Today on our 1990 Ford F150 were going to be installing Hidden Hitch part #: 87471. For this application were gone ahead and removed the spare tire. Now were ready to install the hitch. Its a good idea to get an extra set of hands to help you put the hitch in place. Well use a pair of clamps of vise grips to secure the hitch to the frame. Its got a total of six attachment points and each one of these will need to be drilled out before you can install your hardware.

From the center of the hitch pin to the edge of the bumper, youre looking 3 inches and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is gonna 17 inches. Today on this 2010 Ford F150, were gonna install part number 13368 from Kurt.This is how this hitch looks like when installed in a truck. From the center of the receiver opening to the edge of the bumper its going to be 2 inches and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 18 inches. Its gonna mount using this oval hole right here and this larger round hole in the back. Looking at the passenger side, its gonna be identical on both sides of the frame.Alright, at this point we can go ahead and install the hitch.

Today on this 2006 Ford F-150 were going to be installing Draw Tite Hitch part number 75506 and this installation will also apply to the Hidden Hitch part number 87418. Before we get started with our hitch installation we are going to show you a couple final install dimensions, which are going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is going to measure 17-1/2 inches, and from the center of the pin hole to the clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure right at 3 inches, and now we will go ahead and move on to installation. Were up under the vehicle and the first thing I have done is go ahead and lower down the spare tire to give us some extra working room. Starting over here on the drivers side of the vehicle, the F-150 has a bumper reinforcement thats attached to the bumper and the frame.

Today on this 2011 Ford F-150 we are going to be installing Curt hitch part number 13368. Before we get started with our installation, we are going to go ahead and show you a couple of the final install dimensions which will help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is going to measure 21-1/2 inches. And from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure approximately 4 inches. And now we will go ahead and move on to our installation. 0:25



Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Ford F-150

Today on this 2008 Ford F-150 we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87418. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite hitch part number 75506. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing I have done is lowered down the spare tire to give us a little bit more working room. Looking underneath the vehicle we are going to point out the attaching points that we are going to be using. Starting at the center of the vehicle at the bottom of the bumper there is two existing tabs and we are going to be using those for the two center most attaching points for our trailer hitch. Then looking over at the driver side of the vehicle the saddle bracket has two holes in it that we are going to be using to attach the hitch. The first one is at the rear most section and then if you move to the inboard side you can see there is a second hole that we will be using there and that is going to be the same on the passenger side of the vehicle as well. 00:44



Trailer Hitch Installation - 1996 Ford F150

Install part number V82460 from Valley we will install this 2 inch receiver hitch on a 1996 Ford F150 pickup truck. First thing what you want to do is installing the hitch on this vehicle is you want to go ahead and lower the spare tire down. As you can see we already have that down and out of the way. Next we will show you where the hitch mounts up on the frame. The hitch will mount to the bottom of the frame rail but there are no existing holes so we will have to drill out all the holes on this hitch. It will be identical on both sides. :26
