What our customers are saying:

I had checked local hitch suppliers as well as several online sites trying to find the hitch mount I ordered from you. I wasted quite a bit of time before finding your website but none once I was there. You had exactly what I wanted and what I think is a fair price. I will be back. Thanx

Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, F-350 Trailer Hitch Questions and Answers

  • Trailer Hitch Options for a 1968 Ford F-250
  • We do actually have several trailer hitches that will fit the 1968 Ford F-250 with a step bumper including # 87034. You could also use # 41001, # 75034, or # 40050. There are a different set of hitches that fit if the truck had the deep drop bumper: # 87480, # C13099, or # 41504. I have linked the installation instructions for you to view on all of the hitches. I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, a hitch pin with clip, and

  • How to Measure for Trailer Hitch Clearance on a 1963 Ford F-100 With a Rear Barden Bumper
  • When mounted, the top of the receiver of the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch, # 41001, will sit 5-1/2 inches below the frame rail. So you can simply measure 5-1/2 inches from the bottom of your frame rail to see if the receiver will clear your Barden Bumper. If you do not have enough clearance for the # 41001 hitch, then you may want to take a look at the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 41504. The receiver of this hitch will sit 7-7/16 inches below the bottom of your frame rail and is design

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 1976 Ford F150 with a Deep Drop Bumper
  • A roll pan bumper is a bumper that basically makes the rear bumper look as if it does not stick out further than the rest of the truck and that is molded into the rear of the truck. Its basically a cosmetic modification that you see on a lot of lowered and/or show trucks. What you have is definitely a deep drop bumper. Check out the FAQ article I attached on bumper types for you to check out. With that being said, you will need a hitch designed for trucks with deep drop bumpers like the Cu

  • Curt Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1976 Ford F250
  • For your 1976 Ford F250 with a standard bumper I would recommend you get a Curt Trailer Hitch # 14001. This is a Class IV hitch with higher capacities than the Hidden Hitch # 87471 you referenced that would also work. Check out the installation instructions and installation video that I attached. • Will the Curt Class IV Hitch # 14001 fit on a 1978 Ford F-350 with a 34 Inch Wide Frame
  • The Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch, # 14001 is designed to fit the wider framed 1978 Ford F-350 trucks, and will not fit on the 34 inch wide framed cab and chassis models. I went out to the warehouse and measured the Curt hitch, # 14001 and the installation holes are 36 inches apart on center, see attached photo. The correct Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch for your 1978 Ford F-350 is part # C14082, which is designed to fit the cab and chassis models with narrower 34 inch frame, see instructions l

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1966 Ford F-100 With a Standard Bumper
  • I have included a picture of what a deep drop bumper is going to look like for you. If your bumper looks more like the standard bumper, pictured in the FAQ I have linked for you, then you do not have the 10 inch bumper. You would then need a trailer hitch that is designed for the regular bumper, like # 41001. I have included a link to the installation details for both hitches. I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1979 Ford F-250
  • There are several trailer hitches that will fit a 1979 Ford F-250, but not # 45002. I have included a link to the hitches that will fit. There are no Class V hitches with 2-1/2 inch receivers that will fit the 1979 model. The nearest match is # 14001, a Class IV hitch. It will not fit Crew Cab models of the F-250. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1976 Ford F-Series Truck with 4 Wheel Drive
  • A high boy is a generic term used to encompass all Ford F-250 4x4 trucks from the late 1960s to the late 1970s (circa 1967 to 1977 and a half). If your 1976 is an F-250 with 4 wheel drive, it falls under the high boy umbrella. F-100 and F-150 models are not considered high boys even though 4 wheel drive was an option for some. The high boy trucks came with a different transfer case (what is called a divorced transfer case), the front cross member set up was different, and they sat higher than
