Timbren Rear Suspension System Installation - 2003 Dodge Ram
Today on our 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 we'll be installing Timbren Suspension Enhancement System, part number TDR2500CA. Now this will be for the rear. Now before installing the Timbrens you may need to raise the vehicle to allow the axle to hang freely. We'll need to remove the existing bump stops. We'll take out the two bolts holding it in place. Now we'll need to keep the bolts as we will reuse them when installing our Timbren Suspension.
Timbren Front Suspension System Installation - 2003 Dodge Ram
Today on our 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 we'll be installing the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System, part number TDF25004B on the front axle. Now to begin our installation we'll need to raise the vehicle to allow the axle to hang freely. We'll remove the existing bump stops by prying it out of the bump stop cup. We can then position the Timbren Spring Assembly into the bump stop cup and press it into place. You may need to use a soapy water as a lubricant to get it up into the cup. With your spring assembly loosely fit into the cup we can then use a piece of wood such as a 2x4 to place between the spring and the axle itself.
Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram
Today on this 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, were going to install part number TDR1500DQ from Timbren. First thing we need to do is go ahead and raise the vehicle up and then well go ahead and remove the factory bump stops. Alright, now weve got the old ones removed, we'll now go ahead and install the new Timbren. Well go ahead and spray some soapy water on it and our Timbren has already come pre-assembled in a package, so all we got to do is install it on the vehicle. Were going to fit up into the cup right here. So what well do, well start it, put in place with pieces of little piece of timber between two and lower the truck onto it so it pushes the Timbren part up into the cup.
Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - 2007 Dodge Ram 1500
Today we are working on a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, we will be installing Firestone Air Spring Kit part number F2286. Per the instructions it is not necessary to take the wheels off the vehicle, but we found that this application is much easier if you do so. Our first step will be to remove the manufactures bum stops. They are two fasteners, one on each side. Now that we have our bum stop removed, we will come over to our air bag and get it set up. :33

Firestone Work-Rite Load Assist Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram 1500
Today on this 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 we are going to install part number F8620 from Firestone. This is their Work-Rite Load Assist. To give you an idea of what is going on the new Firestone part actually replaces the factory bump stop right here. When you have the truck fully loaded, the only way it is going to stop is when it hits this bump stop and goes down to the axle. You can see we have got quite a bit of difference so if we put a load in the back of the truck or bounce up and down the road you can see how much travel this has. 00:28
Timbren Front Vehicle Suspension Installation - 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500
Today on this 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 series we are going to install part number TDF25004B from Timbren. This is their suspension enhancement system. This is going to get mounted on to the front suspension of the vehicle. The first thing you need to do is lift the vehicle off the suspension so it can hang down so we have plenty of room to work. Also next we are going to remove the front wheel. This is the factory bump stop and the Timbren component is going to replace this. It is just pressed in so all we have got to do is take the screw driver and pry it out. We are going to show you the components to the Timbren system. 00:37
Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Installation - 1998 Dodge Ram 2500
Today on this 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 2WD we are going to install part number F2071 from Firestone, the Ride-Rite Suspension System. Before we start our install on the truck we need to do some pre-assembly on our table of some components. To begin our assembly we are going to use these main components. This bracket is going to get bolted to the frame itself, obviously the air bag itself. Take our little covers off. What is going to happen is the bracket is going to sit on top of the air bag just like that. Then we will take two flange lock nuts and run them down tight right now. :40
Timbren Rear Vehicle Suspension Installation - 2007 Dodge Ram 2500
Today on this 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty we are going to install Timbren suspension enhancement system part number TDR2500CA from Timbren. The first thing we want to do is get the truck in the air. Basically we want to loosen the suspension up so that it hangs freely so it is easier to work with. First we will remove the back wheel so we can get to everything a lot easier. The first thing we need to do is remove the factory bump stop right here. There is two bolts here and here. It is a good idea to spray some lubricant on them to help break them loose and remove this whole assembly. This piece will be removed and stay off. We will keep the original factory hardware though. 00:46
Timbren Front Suspension Kit Installation
Today, on this 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, we are going to install Timbren front suspension kit, part number TDF25004B. Alright, this is the Timbren suspension enhancement system and we are seeing half of the kit. This is the part that we are going to use on the driver side of the vehicle. Alright, as you can see here, it has the rubber spring on the bottom half and then on the top part is a thin metal plate. And then on top of that is another rubber part that can actually get pushed into the bump stop cup that is located on the frame of the vehicle. What you need to do is lift the frame of the vehicle up to loosen the suspension up, so we have more working room. 0:32
