Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be test fitting a Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System. We'll be using the 53-inch AeroBlade bars, part number THARB53, the Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, part number TH480R, and finally, the fit kit for our vehicle, part number THKIT1540. Now, we've already assembled our roof rack according to the instructions, so now it's time to fit it to the vehicle. First, we'll open the driver and passenger's side front doors. We'll set the front bar assembly up on top of our roof. To position it correctly, we'll measure from the edge of the windshield glass to the leading edge of the traverse foot.

Alright, today on this 2011 Chevy Malibu we're going to do a test fit of a Rhino Rack Roof System. Now we already have a roof rack already assembled according to the instructions. Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Malibu
Today our 2012 Chevrolet Malibu were going to do a test fit of Thule roof-rack system. We will be using the Thule traverse foot pack part number TH480. The first thing to do is go ahead and assemble the roof rack according to instructions and go ahead and place along the roof of the car. So well go ahead and open the car doors and place the first cross bar in place. Okay, what well do is go ahead and place on the roof and then we measure out to find the correct position. We are going to measure from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of a foot pack.

Alright today on this 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, were going to do a test fit of a Thule roof rack system. Were using a Thule foot pack part number 480R and Thule aeroblades part number THARB53. Now were going to start off with our bars, array of symbols according to manufacturers instructions. So we will go ahead and start off with the front crossbar, well put it on the roof and then well get a measurement to put it in the proper position. Alright to put our crossbar on the right spot, were going to go ahead and measure from the edge of windshield to leading edge of the foot pack. Also refer to your manufacturers instructions; in this case its going to be 9 inches.

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be test fitting the Thule Domestique Fork Mounted Bike Carrier, part number TH513. We can take our carrier and set it up on top of our vehicle. We'll fit the front clamp around the bar and use an Allen key to tighten the bolt at the rear. We can then also snug up the front tube bolts as necessary. Now, we can reinstall our skewer and prepare to mount our bike. We want to make sure that the skewer is open and the wheel strap at the back of the carrier is also open.
RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1014. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll set it up on top of our load bars. We'll fit the rubber coated steel straps at the front around the front bar and fit them back into the head. We'll use an Allen Key to tighten the bolt and pull the straps snugger on the bar. We can then reinstall our front cover. We also want to make sure that our skewer is unlocked and open.
RockyMounts Euro PitchFork Roof Bike Rack Review - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 20011 Chevrolet Malibu we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts Euro Pitchfork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part number RKY1103. Now before we can mount the carrier to the vehicle we'll need to remove the rubber strip on the T slot of our front bar. The Euro Pitchfork uses a block in the front that will slide into this slot. We'll slide our front block into the slot and position the bike rack where we want it. Then we'll take our Allen key and snug up those bolts. At the rear, we'll fit the clamp around our bar and use the included wing nuts to tighten it down.
RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chevrolet Malibu
Alright, today in this 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to test fit the TieRod Bicycle Rack from RockyMounts, product number RKY1014. This bike rack will fit a variety of low bars. In this case, we'll be using elliptical-shaped bars. This will also work with round and square bars. So they're easy-to-install racks so we'll get right to it. We'll take the front end of the rack and slide the straps underneath the crossbar until it catches on the other side, and then we'll install a clamp on the back crossbar.
Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chevrolet Malibu
Alright, today in this 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Domestique Bicycle Rack, product number TH513. A couple of quick notes about the bicycle rack is that will fit square bars, fit round bars and electrical bars as well. In this case on our car, we already have a Thule Roof Rack installed with the square bars. We'll go ahead and start off with our bike rack assembled according to instructions and we're going to put it into place. We'll take the front clamp, put around the front crossbar, and then we'll slide the second clamp over the second crossbar, ok. And then we'll go ahead and get the hardware started to clamp it to the back as well as to the front.
Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be test fitting the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH92725. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll take the first half and set it up on top of the front load bar. We'll feed our speed link straps around the load bar and secure them back to the head and we'll tighten them up using the gray hand knobs. We'll take the second half of the carrier and place it on the rear bar. We do want to make sure that it lines up squarely with the front end so we can mount our skis and snowboard in a straight line. Again, we'll feed the straps around the bar, re-secure them to the head and tighten them down using the black knobs.

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2011 Chevrolet Malibu
Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, part number TH810. To mount our carrier to the vehicle, we'll take the first half and set it up on top of our front load bar. We'll feed the speed link straps around our load bar and fit them back into the heads. We'll then use the gray hand knobs to tighten down the straps. We'll take our second half of the carrier and place it up on top of our rear bar. We do want to make sure that it lines up nicely with the front half so we can properly carry the paddleboard.
