Its part number is C12291. Here's what the CURT class two hitch looks like once it's installed on the Equinox. It's going to have a narrow tube going this way running across the car. Keeps it maybe about 1" right underneath this rear fascia, so doesn't hang down too far, doesn't give it a goofy look.

From the center of our hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper comes out at 5 1/2 inches and from the top of the receiver opening down to the ground comes out to about 14 1/4 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First up to install our hitch is to go ahead and remove this cover at the bottom of the bumper here. This small plastic ribbit if you pull out the center using a flat tip screwdriver, you can go ahead and remove it.

From the center of your hitch pinhole to outside edge of bumper, comes out to about five and a half inches. From the top of receiver opening down to the ground comes out to about fourteen-and-a-quarter inches.   • Vehicles tend to pick up dirt and road debris beneath the vehicle, so I would suggest cleaning the weldnuts really well. Soaking the holes with WD40 and using a wire brush works well.
