There are two hangers that we need to lower the exhaust off of. They are both here at the rear side of the exhaust system. To remove the exhaust off its hangers we just want to take a spray lubricant and spray down the studs. Then we can take either a set of pliers or a pry bar and pry it off the stud. We can just let the exhaust rest on the cross bar. 00:37

  • Tongue Weight Capacity of RoadMaster High-Low Drop Adapter # RM-070
  • When you have all 4 wheels of the toad on the ground, the tongue weight is next to nothing. The 100 pound rating does account for sudden but brief increases in tongue weight such as bumps in the road. The idea of using a high-low adapter like # RM-070 is so that the tow bar is level. A level tow bar means the tongue weight will be low.

  • I spoke to my technical contact at Trailer Mate regarding your concern about the brightness of your CR-V lights when towed using their Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit, part # TM783106. Trailer Mate indicates that there is typically a very small voltage drop when using this harness that results simply from the overall length of wiring in their kit, but that this is only about 0.5 volts. In a 12V system this should not be enough to account for any noticeable dimming of the lights when the CR-V is tow

The smaller hole is designed for the J-Pin Stabilization Pin, # 63201, and is not intended to be a hitch pin hole. If you have a hitch mounted accessory with a 1/2 inch hole, then it is probably intended to be used with a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver, rather than a 2 inch receiver. If this is the case,
