  • The correct fuse size for the Curt PWM Powered Converter # 56200 is a 10 amp fuse. In addition to # 56200, you should be using the # 55151 kit to run the power wire to the positive battery terminal. It sounds like you have a common ground issue. When the headlights are on, the highest amperage draw is placed on the wiring system and if you have a bad or loose ground, you will have problems with lights.
