Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 1997 Mercury Villager

Today on this 1997 Mercury Villager we are going to install wiring harness part number 119175 from Tow Ready. We are going to wire up the harness mainly on the driver side of the vehicle. We are going to do these four wires and hook them up to the inside behind the taillight. And we are going to take our green wire and we are going to run it underneath the plastic to the other side to make our connection to the turn signal there. We will go ahead and temporarily take off the threshold here. This usually just pops right off. We are going to remove these doors, one on each side. Look behind the taillight and you will see the connection point with four wire going to it. Disconnect that and we can find our circuits for our converter box. And we are just going to peel away the electric tape so we have access to our wires. 0:50
