Next well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground weve got 22-1/4 inches, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer edge of the spare tire will be about 13 inches, now our Jeep has nonstop tires installed on it, so your measurements may vary. Go ahead and loosen up the exhaust so you have a way to install our hardware. Lets start off by spraying the rubber hangers down with some lubricant and then well go ahead and pry them off.

The first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove the taillight on the drivers side. There are two screws we have to remove and then the light can be detached from the vehicle. Next well disconnect the wire harness from the light. Theres a small tab we have to push down and then you can pull it apart.
