2010 Chevrolet Tahoe Questions and Answers

  • Recommend Tensioners For Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW2028C on 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe
  • When using the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW2028C, it is recommended to use the Glacier Rubber Adjusters # PW99, for rim sizes 16 to 20 inches. The adjusters will provide tension on the chains to keep the tire chains in the correct position. I cannot recommend using just any bungee cord. Snow chains are fitted by tire size, if your Tahoe has the 275/55-20 tire size, the # PW2028C chains will fit. Before installing snow chains on your 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, you will want to check the vehi

  • Mounting Hardware Needed to Attach a Thule Cargo Box to Factory Rack on a 2010 Chevy Tahoe
  • Hi there! I would be glad to help, but without any information on your cargo box it makes it difficult at best. Since there is no information on the box, if you will send me a photo of the box, from a couple of angles, and any dimensions, like hole spacing and width of the spacing between the front and rear set of holes on the box, I would be glad to make a recommendation or forward the information to my technical contact at Thule and get some help finding the correct parts. I look forward to he

  • Will Blue Ox Weight Distribution Systems Interfere with a Trailer Frame Mounted Tool Box
  • The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System, # BXW0750, has undergone a design change. The chain hanger brackets now have a rotating system that is parallel to the trailer frame and you use a wrench to turn the drum and lift the chains. It is all on the outboard side with the exception of the top bracket that rests on top of the trailer frame. The bracket is less than 1/4 of an inch tall off the top of the trailer frame so the 3 inches of space you have is more than enough space. Sinc

  • Finalizing Connections for the Electric Trailer Brake Controller on a 2010 Chevy Tahoe
  • It is possible that you will need to make a few connections under the hood of your 2010 Chevy Tahoe in order to power some of the brake controller and 7-Way functions. Under the hood, remove the cover for the power distribution box, located on the drivers side. The ring terminal for brake controller power is located directly to the right of the power distribution box. It is taped to a wiring harness between the driver-side front fender and the power distribution box. Cut the tape to release

  • Draw-Tite Brake Controller Part # 5100 Not Lighting Up After Wiring To 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe
  • It sounds like the connections that need to be made under the hood of the vehicle have not been made. There are two wires, both Red/Black with eyelets on the end. One wire is located between the fuse box and the driver side fender, the other wire is located under the brake master cylinder. Each wire has a different sized eyelet on the them and will connect to the studs at the front of the fuse box. You will need an M6 nut, part # 185916 and an M8 nut, part # 185917, to attach wires to studs.
