Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Ford Van - Hidden Hitch

Today, we're working on a 2008 Ford E-350 Econoline Van and we're going to be installing Hidden Hitch Part Number 87599. The first thing we need to do is remove the spare tire. It's going to allow us plenty of room to maneuver our hitch and it's also going to allow us to show you the location through the three bolt holes on either side of the frame. We will be using these three holes in our frame. On the rear most hole, we're going to take a bolt and a flat washer, and fit it in through our frame. We also are going to tape a flat washer to the top of our hitch flange, so that it fills up the void between the hitch and the frame, then we'll lift the hitch into the position.

  • How to Troubleshoot P3 Brake Controller 90195 Not Recognizing a 2004 Wildwood Travel Trailer
  • I would not go as far as taking apart the hubs just yet. When you get the "Trailer Not Connected" error message on the P3 brake controller # 90195, this means that the controller is trying to send out a diagnostic pulse to confirm a trailer is connected, but the pulse does not have a complete circuit to make it back to the brake controller. This means that is a short or break somewhere along the line, from the brake controller in the cab back to the brake magnets on the trailer. The best

  • At this time, there is not an available Class V hitch with a 2-1/2 inch receiver available for the 2008 Ford Van. • I spoke with my contact at Yakima and he informed me that this Yakima Holdup 2 Bike Rack # Y02433 will fit bikes with wheel bases of up to 48 inches. What that means is that the distance between where the tires of the bike touch the ground cannot be larger than 48 inches. Most likely this rack will work on your bike, but you will want to determine the wheelbase of the bike before ordering to be sure. • Locating the Correct Brake Controller Port on a 2008 Ford E450 Van
  • Ford typically uses a gray connector. Before attaching the harness to the brake controller, plug the harness into the gray port, then use a circuit tester like part # 3808. The black wire should show a constant 12-volts, and the red wire should show power only with the brake pedal pressed. If this is what you find, you have successfully confirmed that you have the correct connector.

  • Electric Brakes Pulsating On Travel Trailer When Stopping
  • There could be many possibilities that are causing the pulsating of your brakes on your 2008 Ford E350. A few possibilities to start with would be to use a circuit tester like the Quickee Tester, part # 3808, and check the connection of your stoplight wire from the brake controller to your stoplight switch. This wire needs to be connected to the cold side of the stoplight switch, which will only show power when the brake pedal is applied. You will also want to check all the connections of the

  • Which Trailer Hitches, Accessories, and Wiring Fit a 2008 Ford E-350 Van
  • I read through the instructions for the Draw-Tite hitch, # 41546, and while it does mention the E-350 a couple of times, I cross referenced your 2008 Ford E-350 with the Draw-Tite catalog and fit guide I have. This hitch was not recommended for the E-350 as there are hitches that are a more ideal fit for the E-350. For your 2008 Ford E-350, I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch, # 41926. This is a Class IV hitch with 1,000 pounds of tongue weight capacity and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. It
