  • Is the 2,500 Pound Capacity MaxxTow Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack Enough for 690 lbs Tongue Weight
  • The 2,500 pound capacity of the MaxxTow jack # MT70146 will be more than enough for your 2007 Coachmen trailer with its 690 pounds of tongue weight. I have included a link to a video review of this jack for you.

  • Procedure for Installing Curt Class V Hitch on 2004 GMC Yukon with OEM Hitch
  • I spoke with my contact in the Tech Services department at Curt Manufacturing. I was told that installing the # C15324 on your 2004 Yukon would be a simple matter of unbolting the existing hardware holding the factory hitch into place, removing the hitch and installing the # C15324 according to the instructions. Keep in mind that although this hitch has a 16,000 lb towing/ 2,400 lb tongue weight capacity, your actual capacity might be limited by the actual towing capacity of your Yukon, if

  • Replacing an Old Draw-Tite/Hidden Hitch Weight Distribution and Sway Control System
  • If the weight distribution system that is on the trailer is more than 3-1/2 to 4 years old, then you will need to basically replace everything and not just the spring bars. The problem is the newer parts are not compatible with the older parts. The new bars will not fit in the old head, so you would have to replace that as well. And since you will be adding dual-cam sway control, you might as well replace the whole system because the cost is about the same. My recommendation is a new system.

  • Could a Hopkins Backup Sensor be Installed on a 2004 GMC Yukon
  • You should be able to install a Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA on your 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. The sensors are adjustable to allow you to aim the angle of the sensor so you could point above the step on your license plate if you needed to.

If you just have the factory installed side rails that run from front to back on your Yukon, then you will need to use the Thule Snowcat - Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Rack, part # TH5401. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Thule Snowcat rack. You can use the Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part

  • What Modifications are Required to Install a Front Mount Trailer Hitch On My 2004 GMC Yukon 1500
  • To install the Curt Front Mount Hitch on a 2004 GMC Yukon 1500, you may need to trim the front air dam or fascia for the hitch to install properly. How much trimming and if trimming is even needed varies from model to model and you will only know once you have the hitch. I have included a link to the installation details for reference. The other option would be the Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch, # 65023. There are no notes regarding trimming or other modifications with the installation of this

  • 7-Way on Vehicle to 4-Way Trailer Plug Type Adapter for a 2004 GMC Envoy SLT
  • The Adapter 7 Pole to 4 Pole with Tester and Cover, # 47345, will fit your 2004 GMC Envoy SLT, as long as the factory plug is a 7-Way, blade type (and it more than likely is). We also have the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Pole Connector Adapter, # PK12716. Another option is the Adapter 7 Pole to 4 Pole with LED Nite-Glow (TM), # 37335 (kind of neat as it lights up with the taillights). There are several more. I have included a link below that will take you to them.

  • Cargo Carrier Basket Light Kit Availability
  • There is not a light kit available specifically for the 20x60 Folding Cargo Carrier, item # A30850. We do have the Draw-Tite Cargo Carrier Light Kit, item # 6504, which has mounting studs 2 inches on center and could be made to work with this carrier. If you would like a carrier that is the same size and that has a specific light kit available then I would recommend the 24x60 Railed Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # 63153, and the Light Kit for Draw-Tite, Tow Ready, and Rola Ra
